Dr ODonell is a wonderful Dr....I haven't had to see him in awhile and now I can't find him did he retire or move. I can't reach him at 519-438-1128. Did he get a new phone number?

Dr. O'Donnell is an anomaly in the field of psychiatry. Misdiagnosed and over medicated at LHSC, he literally pulled me from the depths and helped me wean off very addictive medications. He has a huge heart and cares deeply for his patients. I found him helpful to enforce expectations, while working with me to achieve my goals. He is open and direct in providing life skills to cope with daily stressors unique to the individual. He is relentless to find the right treatment options while monitoring side effects and quality of life. Dr. O'Donnell helped care for me in areas where my previous GP did not follow through, ultimately finding a serious medical condition. His thoroughness literally saved me from a different path in life and allowed alternate treatment to take place that would not have been possible without his attention to detail. I will be forever grateful to Dr. O'Donnell for all he has done for me.

The most qualified and effective medical professional that I have ever met.I felt that he was able, with his expertise and his incredible knowledge of medications and their interactions, to assist me in achieving wellness and continued stability. Definitely has an approach which treats the whole person.Does regular blood work on his patients and maintains contact with my family doctor when needed..Professioal in every way, yet he has a kind, positive demeanour which puts the patient at ease.He is persistent in trying different strategies when required.I don't feel that there is a more competent psychiatrist or medical prfessional anywhere........ When I first began seeing Dr. O’Donnell, I had lost faith in any and all mental health professionals. His care, concern and special way of treating his patients has helped me to cope and to heal. I now have peace of mind and am able to handle any situation head on! Thank you Dr. O’Donnell for everything you do!

Dr. O'Donnell is the only psychiatrist I have ever heard of who spends 50 minutes with each of his patients. He doesn't simply ask you how your meds are and what you want to do with them (as many do), he will talk with you for the better part of an hour and SEE how you're doing. He is extremely respectful, never makes me wait, and if I call him about anything he returns me call the same day. Dr. O'Donnell is the ideal of what psychiatrists should be, unfortunately most of them are just pill pushes who book 15 minute appointments. I moved out of the city and still return to see him because he is simply the best there is out there. Just do not be late or miss your appointments without calling, when he books that much time for each individual, he does not like to be stood up (rightfully so).
