I have been a patient of Dr. Holt for more than 25 years and with his help have lived a good life in spite of a difficult mental illness. When I have confided my illness on occasion, people are shocked, and I have been able to encourage them with their problem. He is no-nonsense, brilliant, compassionate and intuitive.

I admire Dr. Holt because not only is he a wonderful psychiatrists, who takes time to listen to you-He is also a psychiatrist who specializes in Parapsychology as well, which can keep a person going through what might be considered paranormal situations, such as Spiritual Warfare, can keep you from being misdiagnosed with a psychiatric disorder you do not truly have , but that are attributed to other factors, which he is familiar with & has professional training in treating effectively. All you have to do is tell him in a session that you are studying Spiritual Warfare, as a cue, & he will ask you a few questions & treat you for what the true nature of the problem is, as in what is referred to in Parapsychology as Psychic Attacks, instead of diagnosing you as having a psychiatric disorder. The only exception is if he knows, & he will, if you the person performing what is considered a Psychic Attack, instead of being the target of one. I have been most fortunate, over 26 years he & staff have provided me with Excellent, Professional Care. Always supportive. Thanks to his state of the art care - my quality of life is holistic. My prognosis is promising. Have made many referrals with positive out comes. Dr. Holt's role has been pivotal in my life & lifestyle. (sg)

Dr Holt is a very caring and knowledgeable Psychiatrist. He takes the time to really get to know you and figure out the best plan of action to help you. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety. We had to work with several different medications to get a combination that would work for me. But he was able to help me. I'm not 100% yet, but I know he won't stop working with me until I am. Or until I'm as close as I can be. I am much better than when I started with him. I couldn't get out of bed when I started with him. And I was having frequent panic attacks (all while on an antidepressant prescribed by my GP). Dr Holt has truly changed my life for the better. And I'm very grateful for his help. Not only is he extremely intelligent, he is also very caring. He is straightforward and doesn't sugarcoat, but he's not rude. Just honest. I found this refreshing! I would definitely recommend Dr Holt to others!

Dr. Holt is an extremely intelligent and compassionate psychiatrist. He is very understanding and intuitive concerning patient needs and what diagnosis to decifer. Couldn't ask for a better doctor with appropriate counsel tailored to each individual patient. Highly recommend.

Dr. Holt is a very bright man and is up to date on research and seems to really care about his patients. He does not accept insurance but I pay $50 a visit which is about the same as my ins co pay would be. He is also very knowledgeable about addiction issues and doesn't tend to over medicate. He is the first psych Dr. I have found in COl. who actually talks to you rather than pushing you through like cattle.
