Absolutely love her. Hands down the best doctor I have ever been to. Very down-to-earth, caring, compassionate & funny. She has completely changed my life! I am really going to miss her when I move :(

I am an adult with living with TBI, adhd. and neurological pain. I am taking drugs only when I really need it.
I feel she is not comfortable with this type of problems and she ask for advice (which is good!) but she follow it by the book. She asked me to take a new drug even if I am doing well with the one I am using right now. She think being on the slow release or long active form of a psychoactive drug everyday is what you have to do to avoid addiction. Which is what pharmaceutical industry tell to Doctor to sell their drugs. And more of them..

I decided to change of doctor because of the following:
She is okay to prescribe: strattera, concerta or adderall
But not: methylphenidate, ritalin or dexedrine ( she said to me : ritalin and dexedrine is the same thing.)
Also, because I am out of meds since 5 months now and I dont want to loose my job while trying a new medication. .


I recommand this doctor, except if like me you are managing uncommon issues and you need to take psychoactive drugs sometimes.

She is very nice and helpful. She seems to be genuinely concerned about her patients and willing to go the extra mile to do tests, etc. to make sure everything is okay. Long waits even when you have an appointment and some of the staff are less than friendly, but this seems to be the case just about everywhere.

Staffs are professional though not warm/friendly. Dr. H-J has been very helpful and I have no doubts on her knowledge. However, I wished she could follow her schedule more closely. The few times I have been to see her I waited 45+ min. and one time, I rescheduled my appointment after waiting for 60+ min. I find the waiting area of the clinic very uncomfortable. I decided that I would only take morning appointments from now on.

She is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. She is never on time but that goes with the knowledge that she will spend as much time with you as you need when it's your turn. You never feel rushed to leave. Just book earlier in the day and you'll avoid the hours of backlog.

She's a great doctor, but has such a problem being on time. Every time I go see her I wait for an hour or more.

My family of 3 saw her last year. She was very thorough, very sensitive, knowlegeable, and easy to talk to. She has no problem referring my son and wife to specialist when needed. Great followup from her and her staff. The only problem was she did not work Fridays. Too bad she has been on leave for quite a while. We went to see Dr. Vanderpol who is filling in for her. He is very good too and he works Fridays!!! Hopefully Grandin clinic can keep him when she comes back. That would be good options for new patients.

I went to see Dr. Holm-Jhass about some very sensitive issues and she was very kind and professional. She never acted like I was asking a dumb question and listened to everything I had to say. She did everything she could to help me. Wonderful experience!
