I have been very pleased with the care provided by Dr. DeMeo. Although not warm and fuzzy, he is intelligent and very experienced. I have not had any problems with him or his staff. If you need to be coddled, probably not the best doc for you. But, if you want someone who you can be confident that they know they're doing, he's the one.

SO SAD Dr Ostrum retired. Waited 30 minutes while several patients were in & out in under 15 mins. during my wait. I watched the doctor just walking around and chatting with receptionists for about 10 minutes of my "wait" time. First appt as new patient and no introduction or anything. Exam room was shabby. Can't really rate knowledge as doctor hardly spoke to me. Would not recommend this doctor. Practice not the same since Dr Ostrum retired : (

Rude and audacious. For less than 5 minute visit he tried to send me a bill for $1,500! The only "service" he performed was hearing my child's heartbeat, after 10 seconds of that he very abruptly left the room leaving my husband and I very confused as he didn't even say the visit was complete or ask if we had questions. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone! After reading other former patients' reviews, he is the lowest of the low.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Had to see Dr. Demeo as a rotation at First State Womens Care and although all the doctors there are awful, he takes the cake. As a high risk pregnancy, I asked a simple question as a first time mom about my vision issues and his response was that I am "looking for things to worry about to make pregnancy harder on myself". So, if you expect to be able to discuss weird symptoms and have a supportive doctor during pregnancy, please stay far away from this doctor and his entire practice! The staff received a low rating because I checked in and they took an hour and a half to take me because they never physically put my folder in line for the doctor to take and didn't realize the mistake.

Dr. Demeo was rude and non sympathetic to my heart problem while being pregnant & this is the first and LAST time I'll see him. Other drs in the practice are much more sincere.

Not my usual dr. but mine was out of the office this dr is so rude and uncaring. I will never go to him again if my life depended on it.

Dr. Demeo is an EXCELLENT doctor. I saw him as a rotation when I was pregnant with my first son. I am an emergency room nurse, and I found Dr. Demeo to be one of the best doctor's I have ever seen. He recently discharged me from the hospital in February after my delivery. During my labor, he came and checked on me and was so kind to me and my family. He also came to see me at the time of my discharge, I was already signed out and he came to see how I felt after having my tubal ligation. He has always been so kind and professional. You are in good hands if he is your doctor.

Very rude reception staff. Nurse and Dr. DeMeo recommended antibiotic treatment of GBS on week 11 of pregnancy for patient not familiar with the bacteria. Uninformed patient notably upset and asking questions - refused treatment and DeMeo's commentary in the records is that patient go on her way - she will call back later with problems and a fever. This indifference is abhorent. We left the practice ASAP!!!

Dr. Demeo has been my OBGYN since I was 25 (20 years). I feel like I grew up with him. He was new with his practice then. I have to say I adore him. Always thought he was kind and gentle. Obviously I haven't been pregnant in a while, so maybe he is different than he was when he was a young Dr. Still go "almost" every year. :)

Horrible bedside manner but knowledgeable. If you are looking for a doctor that gets the job done but isn't there for moral support or compassion, then he is the doctor for you. Will make sure to point out bill than alleviate fears regarding pregnancy.
