I tested sick with Covid and immediately called the doctor office to get a prescription for Paxlovid. I was told by the nurse station that to just "suck it up for 5 days and told that Paxlovid is not prescribed at the office because it is not FDA approved." Finally a week and a half later and very sick I called to see my doctor. I could only be squeezed in to see Susan. I mentioned to Susan that I was upset that Paxlovid had not been prescribed when I was newly infected and that I realized it was now too late for it. When I mentioned that I was over 65 and that the public announcements said I should get it, she told me that the pharmaceutical company paid for that and they just want to make money. When I said I didn't understand, she told me that she wasn't going to argue with me. Even though I still tested positive and coughing a lot, she told me I was not contagious. I was not offered any prescriptions or advice. Months later I found out that Paxlovid was available by the doctor.

I really enjoyed my visit with her. She listened to my concerns and offered real options and honest advice. I look forward to her help anytime I need assistance.

I knew her diagnosis was incorrect. I didn't know what was wrong with me but what she came up with made no sense at all. She did not seem to want to listen to me.

Sue Hanson I find to be actually quite effective and straight forward. She has always diagnosed me, quickly, fairly, and in a Professional Manner. I personally would not seek another Doctor in or around Honesdale. She is quite frankly the best there is in this area.

I had a horrendous experience with her. She doesn't listen to her patients' concerns. She told me my Chronic Fatigue was "all in my head." She is NOT knowledgeable, nor is she sensitive to her patients' needs. Definitely worth avoiding. There are plenty of other doctors in the Highland Physicians office who are GOOD.
