The doctor made me very uncomfortable—he immediately wanted to check my genitals on my very first visit. I’ve never had that happen before. And he really checked them out to the point I felt a bury vulnerable and violated. I switched to a much better and more professional primary care physician as a result. My recommendation is to stay away from him

Was assigned Dr. Gonzales as my Primary Care Physician when my insurance changed. He is curt, rude, and arrogant. When his staff called to remind me of my appointment 2 days beforehand, it was the wrong time on the wrong day and I had to correct them. It was an extremely negative experience and I can't imagine having a successful Dr. / Patient relationship with his patronizing attitude. He really shouldn't be in a medical field where the patient relationship is so important. I am extremely unsatisfied, but will attend my follow up appointment. Yuk.

I don't really know where to begin. Numerous times I would make an appointment for 10:45am only to get a call the night before confirming my appointment for 10:00am. Arriving the next morning for a 10:00am appointment, I would be advised that my appointment was not until 10:45. UGGGHHH!!!! Another time, his receptionist was so incredibly rude to another patient in front of everyone in the waiting room that I felt like crying for the woman. As for Dr. Gonzales, it seems that he is more concerned with filling his appointment schedule with return visits than getting to the point and addressing the medical issues at hand. After reviewing my Explanation of Benefits sent from my insurance company, I noticed a pattern of billing between $300 and $400 per office visit when the office visit consisted of nothing more taking my vitals and asking me how I was feeling, then asking me to come back in 2 weeks to follow-up. NO THANK YOU!!!! I'll be looking for a doctor who is more concerned with patient healthcare than racking up insurance payments!!

Saw Dr. Gonzales today for the first time. He was very professional and easy to talk to. I may not liked everything he suggested, but it was clear he wants to help me stay on the path of health. That's why he's my doctor, not my BFF.

Dr. Gonzalez has been my doc since January. I have seen him abut 4 times. He is AWESOME! He is a straight up kind of guy. Will tell you how it is....not what you want to hear. Very up front and direct. Doesn't sugarcoat things. He is kind and caring. Maybe the other reviewers want a doctor that puts more emphasis on feelings than medicine. I prefer the latter when it comes to a physician...and he is good. Knows his stuff. And if he isn't as familiar with something he has no problem admitting it and will look it up on his computer right in front of you. He has nothing to hide. Oh and did I say he cares? He is the best doctor I've had in a very long time. Keep it up Dr. G!!!!!!!

Dr Charles Gonzales is the epitome of caring. As a hospice agency we demand a lot from the physicians that we work with, and Dr Gonzales has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Prompt and detailed documentation, excellent response time, and clear communication are just some of his good qualities. If you are looking for approachable, professional, and caring doctor, look no further.

I have been with Dr. Gonzalez for over 5 years. He is one of the best. He is very no nonsense and that may put some people off because he is so direct but I prefer that over people that beat around the bushes. I was fairly ill a few years back and he called me daily after hours in the evening to check on me and make sure I didn't need anything. I don't know a lot of doctors that would do that. His current staff is excellent as well.

The doctor's nurse has been very nice and helpful. The Doctor has been very kind and honest. He is looking our for my health. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He makes me at ease every time I have seen him. He cares about me staying healthy. They both make what could be a painful visit very pleasent.
