I recently had a miscarriage and in an emergency room in another hospital, I was given estrogen without being weighed or anything like that. I was "overdosed" with estrogen. My body didn't handle it very well. My kidneys started to shut down and my liver was malfunctioning. I went to Stonewall emerg and Dr. Pinniger happened to be the doctor on call. He did tests and explained what was going on with me. He made sure he followed up with me and did a follow up set of tests. He was very kind, used words that were totally understandable, and answered all my questions in full. I then had to see him when my regular family doctor was on holidays for a prescription refill. He did the refill no problem and even asked me how things were going and if I was having any problems from the estrogen still. Very nice doctor.

Dr. P. is a really nice, down to earth every day guy. He's a great husband and father and most importantly, he knows his stuff as an MD. If he questions his own judgement, he will refer you out to someone else without hesitation. Great DR.
