I had an emergency dental issue and spoke with his extremely rude wife about the situation who was yelling at me over the phone. If you want a dental clinic who cares, this isn’t it.

It's been 5 months that I have been waiting on a waiting list and today I called because the tooth I broke 5 months ago is now bothering me. When I called today I got his wife again as I did 5 months ago and she tried to tell me they have been trying to get a hold of me which I do know is a lie because I have been waiting for them to call. Not only that but she was very ignorant about it. If you want patients and our money maybe you should treat your patients with a little more respect or stay away from the front desk.

I've gone over some o the other reviews and I guess your not gonna please everyone,some o them are way out there!...but anyway,I've been going to Dr Jack in me hometown for years,well me whole life and no complaints here.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST---BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE--Wish I had read comments before allowing Dr. Jack to fill my tooth--I was having a problem with a tooth bothering me "some" times---decided to have it looked at. He said it needed to be filled---90 +% that the filling would fix the problem. He asked me if I had any sensitivity to hot and/or cold--I told him NO. have never had so much pain with the freezing coming out--and I have had a lot of work on my teeth over the years. First thing i noticed was now i have sensitivity with hot and cold i should have called a professional but asked friends if they had ever had that problem--because I have never ever had that problem after a filling---well it progressively got worse--ended up having to have the tooth removed at another dentist at more expense---I believe that the filling was not done properly as at the time of the filling I told my daughter that he ha not "pushed" the filling material into my tooth like all other dentist had--turns out that it was not packed in properly and so left "nerves" exposed--thus the sensitivity and then pain I experienced---I DO NOT RECOMMEND

I Love Dr Colin Jack, I live in Montague, but don't mind travelling all the way to Souris for Dr Jack. The only thing I really have an issue with is his staff, I find the woman working the desk really rude and she has even yelled at me a handful of times for beyond stupid reasons. Besides his receptionist though, DR. Jack is beyond great, I have a fear of dentists and Dr Jack goes and talks through everything with me as he does it, which makes everything a lot better and go by so much faster.

I may live in Alberta now, but I get my teeth taken care of by Dr. Jack still. I've been to some other dentists, but he is the only one I trust working on my mouth. I like that he talks to you as he does things. That's what I do with my EMS patients and I'm glad that he does it too. Makes it less worrisome when a practitioner tells you what they are doing to you as they do it. When I was younger he could have sent me to get braces, but I didn't need them, just needed some space for the teeth to grow. So he gave me a couple options and I ended up only spending $500 as opposed to $5000 on my mouth. I like that he is a straight shooter and doesn't take you for all he can. He is the last of a dying breed that believes medicine should be for the good of the patient and not only the good of his pocketbook. Hopefully I'll have an appointment with him when I get home. Got some teeth that need attention!

I was a life long patient of Dr. Jack and thought he was great dentist but this changed rather quickly. After becoming a good friend with a person who had dental knowledge informed me that the cleanings I was receiving from him were well priced but not thorough which is the reason I was there in the first place. After one of my cleanings Dr Jack informed me I would need to pay particular attention to one tooth that was in the beginning stage of becoming a cavity and said I could just have it re evaluated at my next cleaning. Before 6 months my tooth ached so I went in and he filled it. I was not very happy about this since he said it would be alright until my next cleaning but kept my feelings to myself. A few days later I had sensitivity and went back. He immediately preped for a root canal without my consent which to my understanding is not only unethical, but illegal. I complained and he waved my co payment. I believe he took advantage of my situation because of my dental insurance.

My little guy was sent to a dentist in Hunter River because the one we took him to in his home town would not take him as a patient due to him being ADHD. It was only a matter of three visits and our insurance was maxed for the year and he was still in need of much more work. We decided to try Dr. Jack, we heard lots of good stuff about him and he’s my husbands dentist, even though we would have to travel a distance. Turns out it was well worth it! He is amazing with my little guy and has great patience! His staff is wonderful, they make me feel so welcome every time I’m there. In fact, my other little guy and myself now go to him too! I have endless positive feedback about this guy and his practice. Thank you Dr. Jack for all your great work.
