Went to Dr Allingham for opiate addiction & @1st he helped me get off opiates w/ suboxone. After seeing him every 2wks for 2 yrs it's clear he only cares about $. If you need urgent care he isn't bad, but for those w/ opiate addiction (& truly want to get off them) go elsewhere!!! If you just want a doc to consistently get subs & more from he's your guy, but it'll cost you $620+/month. At no point in my 2 years did he ever really help me w/ addiction. The few times I was sick he got me better quick, but I had good ins though so he cashed in big time w/ unneccessary tests too. More often my experience was like a recent visit when i really needed to talk to him. i was charged $400, given a sub refill and THEN told he wasn't even in the office. Infuriating!! It comes down to this, good doctors want to help people & from my many experiences w/ Dr Allingham it has become quite clear he sees patients as $ signs. So after 2yrs, $1000s & a recent relapse I have to start all over w/ a new dr.

He consistantly does xrays and tests in his office to make money not for the betterment of the patient. Automatically he does xrays before even seeing the patient.

I saw the doctor, paid my copay, and I was prescribed medicine for my Poison Ivy. 3 months later, I had $730 deducted from my checking account, no statement, no phone call, no notice. When I tried to get my money back, the billing lady was not in, and the person did not speak English very well. I went in to the office that evening and demanded some answers. Another doctor told me that they must have used an old insurance card that was (obviously) rejected, and so they billed my card for the full amount (WITHOUT ASKING). As of this moment, I have to wait to actually get my money back. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIKE MONEY STOLEN FROM YOU!

If you have insurance, he'll order more tests. And all that he cares about is making money, not the patient. And he has X-ray Technicians (tradiologic Technologist) that aren't licenesed by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist). He's so cheap that I've seen the nurses & technologist emptying the trash (& complaining to each other). If you're sick, go anywhere but here.

I found Dr. Allingham to be very rude to both me and even to my 4 yr old son. We came in for an earache, and he tried to talk us into numerous additional tests and when i declined because i just wanted to get my son home with some antibiotics, he became almost hostile. The whole time he kept taking calls from his wife who was apparently hysterical because the salon dyed her hair the wrong shade. I wanted to say "uh, hey, a 4 year old boy is in PAIN, can you ask your obviously high maintenace wife to wait until you are done with your patient??? honestly, it was a madhouse.
