I saw a few good reviews of Dr. Valle dated ten years ago and one very bad written very recently. I guess something happend to the good doctor in the last seveal years. My experince was similar to the last review. Waited for the appoitment three weeks. Very detached and did not explain anything during pre- endoscopy visit. While I waited with my husband for the procedure he walked in , did not introduce himself or greeted my husband .I found this behavior very impolite. After the procedue when I was still grogy he told me I had inflamation in my esophagus and that he took several biopsies and then presented me with a printout which I later sudied. The printout stated that I was advised about the appropriate diet . This was not truth . It also said the results of pathology will take 2-3 weeks. I never hear from his office again and only today ( 4 weeks later) the results of pathology appeared on my patient portal. I made and appoitment with my GP and don't plan ever see Dr. Valle again. It is clear he doesn't not care.

I had a SEVERE case of rectal bleeding about 2 years ago! I left work and went to Dr. Valle office to have it checked. After keeping me waiting the whole day with massive bleeding, he checked me right before theire closing time and sent me home to wait for the result of a test to know if I should go to emergency hospital or not! That was the last I heard from him or his office! After many unsuccessful calls to his office/nurses or on call doctors, I checked myself in the emergency room later that evening only to be hospitalized for 2 more extra days due to massive bleeding! Still didn’t hear anything from Dr. Valle or a visit in the hospital. I got lucky that my bleeding stoped on the 3rd day so I didn’t need blood infusion! Eventually another doctor from his office who was on weekend call came to the hospital just to sign my release forms. Only then he gave me a 2 minute explanation of what was going so wrong in my intestines! I went back a week or so later for a backup check! I just got another one minute explanation from the same on call doctor! Do you think I saw or heard from Dr. Valle again? Think again! I can not believe that he didn’t even bother to check what happened to his patient after I left his office! I guess he just cares about the number of his colonoscopies per day!
HORRIBLE DOCTOR AND GI CENTER IN RESTON!

Dr. Valle spends his time with you and doesn't try to drug you up for no reason like another GI did. The nurse is friendly and always called back. Even the doctor called after some results arrived to discuss future steps -- there are a lot of offices out there where the doctor doesn't take his time and let the nurse call you. I am not too sure how often the front desk lady calls back. But as soon as I where past her everything was as great as a doctor office can be.

Dr. Valle was super. The admin staff was difficult to deal with when we could finally get to speak to via the phone. Had to leave many messages before someone finally got back to us. Does not accept Tricare!!!

Dr. Valle is the best gasterointerologist I have ever had and I am now going on 3 years with him as my GI doctor. He is personable and knowledgeable and very determined to help. For those with complicated cases, he does his studying up and gets creative in solving problems. For his patients that get admitted to the hospital, he (or one of his partners) is there daily checking up on their care, whether or not GI is their primary reason for admittance. I have been very pleased with all of the other members of the practice as well. They discuss cases and offer suggestions and incite that helps provide the best medical care possible. Dr. Valle is also very knowledgeable of other excellent doctors and all of his referrals have turned out to be top notch. His nurses are very friendly and knowledgeable of GI matters and you get a call back usually within the day when you call them. I would recommend this practice to anyone with any gastrointestinal problems.
