We started out with Dr. Corfman around August of 2020. We ended up going through with 3 IUI’s that all failed. After our third failed IUI we met with Dr. Corfman again to review the results and try to figure out our next steps. Dr. Corfman told us that it was very unlikely that we would ever be able to conceive our own child using my own eggs and suggested that we try using donated eggs. We had previously communicated to Dr. Corfman that we would never pursue using donated eggs, yet he continued to suggest that this is the only way we would ever be able to get a viable embryo. In my opinion, this is extremely unprofessional on his part.
We felt that his attitude and communication with us drastically changed during this meeting after the 3rd failed IUI. We wanted to gather as much information and knowledge as possible so of course we are going to ask questions, but we felt that Dr. Corfman became very rude and dismissive towards us. Overall we felt he was very rude and unprofessional.
