He actually saw me a little bit early. Listened when I talked about my symptoms, etc. Had knowledgeable comments and questions. Was very friendly and personable. Would recommend!

Dr. Brittain has, over many years, helped us to understand the diagnosis and he has recommended other specialists as indicated. He has a quiet gentle nature and we have a deep level of trust in his knowledge and judgment over the years. What he has said has proved to be accurate in our experiences and we appreciate that he sent us on for others' opinions when he felt the need.

I saw Dr Brittain once he ordered MRI in mid 2013, and he sent me results by mail. Refused to see me again. This may have had something to do that he was having trouble billing DOL. I felt that his behavior was malpractice. I was going to complain to VT Medical Board, but instead went to a different Neurologist, Dr Towle in St Johnsbury, he was great. Don't waste your time seeing this bozo, incompetent, arrogant, and clueless.

I have only been to Dr. Brittan once. He read my brain scan. He was knowledgable, calm, caring & patient. He made me feel relaxed and in capable hands. I am so glad my doctor recommended him.

If you're looking for bedside manner you'd better look elsewhere. While he's a very knowledgeable doctor he has zero people skills. There was no one in his office but I still waited 20 minutes to see him. He diagnosed my MS like he it bored him then asked me what I wanted to do as if I had should know. After finding out I had no insurance he told me the cheapest treatment and said goodbye. I called him with an alarming reaction to the treatment and he said I was fine and hung up. Dr. Brittain shouldn't see patients but stick to research and administration. I've spoken to other patients of his who say the same thing.
