She was very helpful when it came to advice about how I should handle my endometriosis. I found her to be down to earth and knowledgeable. I really enjoy having her as a doctor.

I went to Dr. Chu last year after trying to conceive for 5 months. Her office drew some blood and she completed a sonogram during my visit. Her conclusion was that nothing was wrong and that normal healthy couples have only a 20% chance to conceive. Her only suggestion was taking clomid to release more eggs during cycle. I tried for another year with no luck and tried Dr Tony Tsai at the New York Fertility Center. He was patient and asked loads of questions which prompted him to perform a water sonogram on me. At this procedure he realized I had scar tissue in my uterine lining and suggested for me to complete a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. I finished surgery yesterday in which he removed cysts and endometriosis and informed me without this procedure, my chances of conceiving naturally are none. Please go to Dr. TONY TSAI in flushing ny if you want a thorough assessment of your fertility issues.

I had read negative comments about Dr. Chu on another site but something told me to take a chance and I'm glad I did. We had the last appointment of the day. It was late and she looked like she had a long day, but she was nothing but nice from the moment we walked in. Every appointment I had with her was very pleasant. The nurses, the staff at the front, even the staff across the hall-all nice....her secretary not so pleasant, hard to get a hold of, and did scree up one of my appointments, but it's no reflection on the doctor. Today my son is 5wks and 3 days old. We would not have our baby if it weren't for her. So to those who has a bad experience with her, I don't know what to say. All I can say is that if my friends were in the same position we were in I would definitely recommend her to them.
-Thank you Dr. Chu for our little miracle :)

I went to Dr. Chu because I have had previous miscarriages and was having difficulty getting pregnant. She is supposed to specialize in recurrent pregnancy loss. Her advice to me was to drink more water and stop drinking coffee. Basically she patronized me and didn't give any respect to all the labwork and previous records I brought her. She didn't take me seriously at all.

Dr. Chu is rude and unprofessional. That would be almost fine is she also was not thorough in reviewing our provided paperwork or actually listening to us as we spoke. Speaking to her, I felt like I was speaking to someone still in medical school, who has the social skills of a nasty child. When we walked in for our first visit (and last) visit with her, there was no "hello", no introduction, no eye contact, no hand shake and then she quickly became argumentative with my wife who was trying to outline the case history for her. Stay away from Dr. Chu!

I went through IUI and IVF treatment with Dr Chu and all I can say us PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH HER AND DO YOUR SELF A FAVOUR. You will not only safe money but also precious time and emotional drain out. I went with her and had all negative results. I went to another place and was pregnant the first time. The issue is not that I did not get pregnant with her.. the issue was approach.. they just treat all patients like cattle! You are just there and they operate like an assembly line. PLEASE PLEASE you will thank me a lot if you just do not go with her

Rude and well haughty is the word for this doctor. Always late, even for the first appointment of the day. Very dismissive. I kept telling her my file said one thing and she really wouldn’t listen or look at the file, finally I had to get the nurse involved who verified I was correct. Had I not fought back she would have put me on the wrong meds. This is not okay. She doesn’t listen. I could go on about the bad experience, but I will just say there are other doctors in the practice, chose on of them.

i think whoever made the previous entry is so stupid. She prob just had a bad attitude and that is why she didn't like the doctor.i went to dr. chu and she got me pregnant. She was so patient and informative. She sat with my husband and i and was always there for us. In fact i just recently went back and was so sad she's on leave until may. So ladies if you want a baby she's the one to help you. I highly recommend her.

Not friendly, very rude, wouldn't even say hi to me. Most of my appointments were in the moring and i would say good morning when she walked into the room but she wouldn't even acknowledge my greeting. Never explained anything regarding the diangosis or the treatment unless i asked spicific questions. I am very disppointed that i wasted my precious time by seeing her for 5 months.
