Dr. Tolson is the best doctor I have ever had. She truly cares, and it shows. Supporting staff is very good.

Dr. Tolson is wonderful, and takes her time with each patient. You really feel like she is there and has the time to address all of your concerns.

Dr Tolson is much too liberal to be the doctor of a male age 18 - 36. She treats people like they don't know their own bodies especially when it comes to pain medication. If you are a male, seek someone else, because if not, if you mention that something hurts, you're a drug seeker, at least that's how she makes you feel.

Center for Family Health is a low-cost health clinic in Jackson, but they do accept patients with health insurance. Dr. Tolson thinks beyond the 'low income' mentality, treating her patients thoroughly and proactively. She's very knowledgeable and is very open to discussing problems and treatments as a 'team.' In particular, she recognized that my clinically-normal thyroid levels were not ideal for me and was proactive in adjusting my medication. Also, when I switched to her from another clinic doctor, she took action on problems I had previously brought up to others, but were ignored. There is a bit of a 'low income' mentality in the clinic (it's not as service oriented as other physician's offices), but Dr. Tolson is great - providing high quality care to all her patients.
