After waiting 3 hours in the G.P walk in clinic with a cranky toddler, i was annoyed to only see a doctor for 5 minutes. I thought he was rude and slow and not too intelligent considering he's a doctor. The receptionist was also rude and very unfriendly. I would not recommend this doctor or that clinic to anyone.

He was my family doctor for many years when I resided in GP. He delivered both my babies and saved my life after my first one. I LIKED that he didn't always dish out the prescriptions - unless they were absolutely necessary. He definitely is NOT a pill pusher. He was a great doctor, and I miss his up-to-date, straight forwardness.

I was very upset when I came on here and discovered what some people had been writing about doctor mcgovern. He has been my doctor for years and I have noting but good things to say about him.To all of the people complaining about drug interactions, doctors don't know a lot about that stuff. That is why your pharmacist goes to school for 4 years. To the people complaining about waiting, its a walk in clinic,at least your seeing a doctor that day or if you prefer, go wait in emerg for 8 hours. Also because it is a walk in clinic, unless you are a personal patient of his you should only come in with one problem instead of a list of problems you should have a family doctor for.The staff there is actually very friendly, but are not afraid to treat you as you are treating them.People need to get over themselves and realize what a great service the doctors at this clinic are providing.Dr McGovern is an awesome doctor and anyone should feel privilaged to be treated by him.

I have seen this doctor a few times. It seems like he never really wants to treat anything and i come away prescription less; however, he may know more about these things than me. He is friendly enough, however seems sometimes short with me.

Has been my family Doctor for 23 years, and in all that time has only made one mistake. He is a awesome Doctor and a very nice person. Have no regrets what so ever choosing him for our family doctor........

Saw him in emergency in 2002. 22 month old daughter stepped on a broken beer bottle in a public park (always wear shoes EVERYWHERE!!). He was efficient, caring and reassuring. Have seen him many times since at the clinic and he is always fast, but polite and accurate in assessing my children's illnesses. He's decent.

Very brisk doctor, short visit, and his receptionists are not the friendliest people

Peter has been very helpful and will often discuss things that I don't understand or help me to look at problems differently.

I saw him when my baby had thrush. He said it wasn't thrush. He also made me feel stupid for coming there. I had to og to another doctor the same day who told me it was a bad case of thrush and gave me meds for it. I absolutely don't recommend this doctor.
