Dr. Lord is an excellent doctor. He didn't rush me and took time to answer all of my questions and more. I left my appointment with a clear understanding of my problem, causes and what to do about it.

Dr Lord was the rudest doctor I’ve ever been to. I said I was concerned about a colonoscopy because I know a friend who had a serious complication and he said, “I know someone who was in a car wreck too.” I discussed
my reflux issue and he said I don’t have reflux because a report from another doctor said that I don’t have reflux. No matter that I have hoarseness and heartburn. Was not concerned about my symptoms at all.

After a few scary and unpleasant days in the hospital and discovering what was causing over a month of discomfort, weight loss and sleep deprivation, it was so good to have Dr. Lord walk into the room and listen to my husband and me. Based on questions asked and his concern Of why my husband was not bouncing back after discharge 2 weeks earlier, he discovered that my husband had been taking the same medication under 2 different names. One from his regular doctor and the other from the Hospitalist, Once we checked the meds at home and realized what he had been doing it made a major difference in how he was feeling and has improved a lot. If Dr Lord has not asked us the questions he did or listen to what we shared with him, I’m not sure how my husband would be right now. If more doctors walked into a room to see a patient without a computer, and actually talk to the patients their patients would heal much faster. Thank you Dr Lord for being the physician all physician’s should be.

Dr. Lord is excellent! He is very professional, competent, skilled and very personable. The entire process from scheduling the consult visit, preparing for, and having the colonoscopy went very smoothly. His office staff are wonderful too!
