After seeing 12 different doctors, including orthopedist it was Dr. Shandles who correctly diagnosed and treated my problem. It is a relief to be without constant pain. His staff is unfailingly helpful and attentive, making sure all paperwork was handled correctly. We changed insurance and they were very helpful transitions from one provider to another. To the people who complained about the office not taking your insurance, it is your responsibility to inquire about the insurance coverage from your insurance provider before you visit a doctor, not the doctor’s office..

Dr. Shandles diagnosed me with 2 Neuromas and Tarsal Syndrome which none of them found to be accurate. He basically said that he had the cure for my problem and that his success rate was %99 with some B12/Lidocaine/Alcohol injection
I had an MRI done and a second ultrasound from two different doctors and they both disagreed with Doctor S findings.
Also a Nerve test/EMG concluded that the foot pain issue was not foot related, it was S1 nerve root damage which completely
contradicts Doctor Shandles prognosis. The worst part was my bill which was extremely high for some make up diagnostic
I will be filing a complaint. This was unethical/unprofessional to me

Dr Shandles claims of freeing you of pain with his over injections. Its criminal what he's charging and how he's not working with Insurance companies. Not Only does his shots not work, his bookkeeper doesn't understand insurance billing procedures. I have medicare and Humana at time of service. They never asked for a dime as my insurance covered everything I was told. Now months after I realized he was not helping my feet pain, he turns me over to collections for 3600. Anyone who has had issues with Dr Shandles, please email me as I'm getting a debt attorney involved and welcome a class action suite. O 🌟 rating. Tgohnjr@gmail.com

Found the good doctor via Anthem BCBS web site for in network doctors. Was first on the list as his office was closet to me. As in other reviews below, he uses a B12/Alcohol/Lidocaine injections that he told me was a formula a doctor came up with in NYC back in 1960.
I have had ten plus years of a painful big toe joint, inflamed and was told by another doctor from looking at an x-ray that it was arthritis. Maybe it was but after the first injection I was felling a lot less pain, almost none, by the afternoon, just like he said I would. Now I have had a second injection and there is no pain at all and my joint has even become loser than before. Before I could not even bend the joint. it was painful to walk. I have some neuropathy in that big toe area that keeps me from going to sleep. Dr. Shandles prescribed me Diazepam or Valium that I only need to break it in half to help me get to sleep. Sometimes I have to also take half of an Oxy that I have left over from my back surgery months ago. Now with the Opoid abuse people like me who are responsible adults and do not abuse drugs will no longer be able to get a drug like this prescribed, and i have a real serious pain issue. I was told at another pain clinic that opioids will now only be prescribed to hospital and hospice patients. I do not want to have to play the medical marijuana waiting game now either but I may have to resort to this anyway. I digress from the good doctor. My apologies but, you know where I'm coming from here. The doctor is a great Jewish doctor who loves his work and it shows. He was very personal with me and answered all my questions and even showed me the two swollen areas of nerves that needed the injections. My hope is that he will help me get back my feeling in my foot from the pinched nerve in my back that prevents me from raising my right foot. Acute foot drop it's called. I now wear a brace that I found on Amazon for $25 on recommendation from a step niece who is a physical therapist and this brace actually helps me walk better and not trip and almost fall or stub my toes. My first appointment the waiting room was pretty busy but I got called in after about fifteen minutes. The second appointment I was the only one in the waiting room and as called in in about five minutes. I will keep going to see Dr. shandles as long as I need to.

Should have walked out when he told me he had cured , not killed nerve, 40,000 patients of neuroma with his exclusive injection formula. Both feet are now much worse. Office also cluttered and dirty.

Be warned! Dr. Sanders is an amazing doctor and has the ability to treat mortons neuroma with injections of vitamin B 12 and alcohol. After my first treatment I was pain-free and I am now using Ortho inserts . The doc also has wonderful personality. The only downfall is the office does not check Insurance coverage of any kind, to see if you're in network or out of network. NOW I'm stuck with a bill that's over $600. They should hire a mother like myself that stays home with my special needs child to do insurance verifications. If you don't mind paying out-of-pocket , this is the doctor to see for pain relief.

At first, everyone seemed helpful and knowledgable. Since I was paying cash, I needed to have both of my ingrown toenails removed in 1 visit. I had them done and the DR. was very helpful at first. But when I called about 3 weeks later to tell them one of my toenails was growing back in, they wouldn't return my calls. I finally got an appointment and the doctor did not take me seriously at all. He looked at my toe without really inspecting at all, put a bandaid on it and sent me on my way. It has now been 4 months of trying to contact them leaving emails and messages with no answer or return call. I have had to manage working on my feet 12 hours a day with an ingrown toenail that I keep having to trim myself when it gets so deep that it bleeds and gets puss in it. They couldn't care less about you once they get your money. Do not go there!
