I have seen Dr. Garcia many, many times when she was in the Rutherford office. I NEVER found her to be uncaring. She was very thorough and did 2 biopsies on my husband, determined to dx his auto-immune issue. She treated both my sons and myself and I always found her to be personable, thorough and caring. I always felt I was treated fairly and was given the best tx and options for my conditions. I have not seen her in the Paramus ofice - so I cannot comment on punctuality/staff there.

The staff is very nice and the office was clean. Dr Garcia is pleasant, knowledgeable and confident but she is short and concise. I had a few questions and she answered each of them with about 5 words and she was out of the room in 5 minutes flat. Be advised you will be waiting long. Upon arrival I asked the receptionist if she was running behind due to the large amount of people sitting in the waiting room, the response was no but I waited an hour before being called in. If that's on time, I'd hate to be there when she was behind schedule. Then I waited an additional 25 minutes in the patient room. I did notice quite a few signs stating not to schedule other appointments during surgical visits due to the long waits. My guess is that applies to all visits.

I was/am VERY impressed with Dr. Garcia. I have been to many different dermatologist when needed over last 10 years-for myself but mostle for my son. I NEVER was satisfied- there was nothing they would really say or do to help his situation. Dr. Garcia- is upfront helpful realistic and communicates facts!. I like her very much & Highly Recommend Her! the only dermatologist I have ever found who is hones skilled & Cares! not vague! :)

She is not helpful but rather quite nasty and not at all knowledgeable. Would not listen that my son had ringworm from wrestling, insisted it was eczema. Spent a fortune on cream that did not work, wound up going to regular MD to get treated. even coach and gym teacher said it was ringworm. Would not waste my time again.

Love her. Is she short with people? Yep. Does her bedside manner lack a little? Yep. Does she know her stuff? Absolutely. She's the only derm in the area who has been able to help me with my extreme case of Psoriasis with a combination of MTX, Enbrel and topicals. She KNOWS what works, and she has RESEARCHED on my behalf. Sorry if she's short with you and your rosacea or zit problem (yawn). But when it comes to REAL dermatology issues, there's no one else in the area I'd want to see. With most dermas, going on Biologics means a double-whammy - having to visit a derma *AND* having to visit a rheumatologist. Luckily Dr. Garcia has researched Psoriasis to the point where I can have just ONE afternoon off work instead of two. She also knows a lot about how insurance companies work with dosages and what they are willing (or are unwilling) to prescribe, and in what amounts. If you want sunshine up your posterior, look elsewhere. If you want RESULTS? Visit. Dr. Garcia.

This office scheduled me for a 2:10 appointment. I asked if visits were scheduled 10 mins apart, as this was my first visit and expected time for discussion. I was told 'No" but then discovered someone in the waiting room with a visit at 2:15. I guess they were honest. Dr. Garcia rushes through an exam, is not willing to talk. She actually missed allopecia on my scalp that was found a week later by my beautician. A biopsy was taken but I never heard from her or was told to call for results. When I did call the voicemail directed to Haline who never picked up the phone in all my attempts--at least 4 or 5. It was only through connecting to the appointment desk, that I was able to finally reach the elusive Haline. When I indicated my dismay at the missed allopicia, Haline indicated the doctor was only checking for skin cancer. This doctor and her staff have long ago forgotten that they are supposed to be healers. This woman is simply in business.

Had a Sat. appointment with this doctor. I was over all pleased and satisfied with the experience. Didn't have to wait too long, felt I received a complete exam. Office staff pleasant, although on the phone sometimes they speak to quickly & sound like they are too busy to spend anytime with you to hear your questions. Everything looked very clean. I would definately use this doctor again. When I read the previous review I was worried, but my experience was a good one.

Her time is way more valuable than yours. In fact, after the office LOST my appointment in their computer and I asked to be rescheduled, they insisted I wait to see the doctor. I did notice people coming out fairly quickly so I'm certain she couldn't give them the appropriate amount of time needed. I finally got in to see her and started explaining my problem. Not only was a cut off several times and asked to give "the Readers' Digest version," but I was also belittled in my assessment of my situation and told that my skin rashes and welts could not be related to a spider bite. I told her my primary doctor needed a skin biopsy on some lesions I have and immediately, this doctor ranted that SHE didn't have time for this (after I waited an hour) and that I would have to reschedule because SHE was late for a meeting in Edison. What nerve... I took off from work, and traveled to see her, but my time isn't valuable because "I'm not a doctor like she is!" How
