Dr. Lewis was our doctor for two pregnancies. The doctor was very helpful and always willing to call with answers for my many questions.

I went to Dr. Lewis for my first pregnancy. I never had a real huge problem with her, but she left a lot to be desired. She seemed to sort of just be "phoning it in". Examples included things like when I mentioned pain she didn't probe further - just said it was normal. She asked me at one appointment if I was experiencing pain and when I said yes she just dropped it at that. At each visit she just sort of seemed to be there. It's actually sort of funny - at one visit my husband and I noticed that she was MUCH happier. She was in a good mood and you could tell the difference from all the other visits! That was our last visit with her. Our next appointment was cancelled and we were informed that she was taking time off and not coming back until after our due date. This was after the middle of my pregnancy by this point. Overall, not bad - but there are better.

dr. lewis is a great doctor, very compassionate, takes time to talk to you and help you with anything you need. i recommend her to all my friends and even strangers because i really love the care i receive from dr. lewis.

I suffered from irregular post coital bleeding. I had been to a few doctors and she tried burning my cervix with a solution that toughened up the cells. It worked. It freaked me out, but it worked. Personally, she was very nice and helpful. But when i had a pregnancy (spotting) issue several months later i couldn't get in to see her within 3 weeks. I asked for her to call me back to try and squeeze me in and i didn't receive a call back for approximately 48 hours ... that is a lifetime when you are pregnant, scared, and bleeding. I blame the office staff, they lord over the appointment books and fail to prioritize genuine patient needs over their precious schedule.
