I was very impressed with both the staff and Dr. Puckrin yesterday (Oct 17, 2023). He is an exceptional physician... and human being. I've read all the other very positive things written in the other reviews about Dr. Puckrin, and can certainly attest to all the nice things that have been said about him.

Great doctor, been with him for 35years, many autoimmune issues during that time, when he wasn't sure he always referred me to a specialist or a team of them. Very caring, always remembers what's going on with me which is surprising considering how many patients he has. They shortened the delay waiting for your appointment in the waiting room significantly. But even if they had not I would wait hours calmly for this doctor because if you want excellent treatment you need to expect he is giving others the same and that takes time. Finally, I will finish by saying if you are lucky enough to be cared for by this physician count yourself blessed. Doctors are not infallible but this one is pretty close.

Dr. Puckrin is a very good aviation medical examiner. I have been dealing with him for years and he and his lovely staff have always been very helpful! Definitely recommend him!

Dr. Puckrin has wowed me as a medical professional. From entering his office and speaking with his lovely assistant Nancy to his demeanor with myself as well as my two young babies (and now my wife has switched to him, too), I highly recommend him (except, I'd hate to have too many people sign up for his service as it just ends up being a longer wait for me :) ). It will be terrible for us when he retires but alas I believe he has earned it.

"Failed country Vet" Around 18 y. ago he couldn't diagnose a textbook case of Hodgekin's Lymphoma... for 6 months. "Good news it's not Mono" is not an acceptable answer. MY Dr could tell immediately, as could I, and my family. None of us trained medical professionals.
I guess we all can make mistakes, but it feels like no thought was put into this case. All he needed to do was open his eyes and maybe a textbook. Near murder, in my experience.
Very poor diagnostician.
If you are wondering what is wrong with you, don't expect him to figure it out.
Glad he works well for other people. I'd hate for my experience with him to be the majority and him still practicing. Sounds like he has some redeeming qualities, but I wouldn't let him near me or anyone I love.

Dr. Puckrin is the most caring helpful Dr I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He will discuss all your ailments with you at one appointment, he doesn't have a 'one concern' rule and never rushes you out. He thoroughly explains everything and makes you feel very at ease. Nancy is a great nurse, knowledgeable and always very helpful. I hope he doesn't plan on retiring anytime soon.

Dr. Puckrin was my families doctor back in Wawa. My mom brought us there and we loved his manners, always friendly, making his patients feel at ease. I remember him when I was a young girl and later when I married and got pregnant...he delivered my first child. He was the coolest, even then when I was scared, he made me feel at ease. I don't live in Wawa anymore but when I go visit, many of us still remember him and smile when we chat about him, and I believe his nurse/assistant was his wife, and she was also very nice and understanding. I think all his patients where sad the day he left Wawa. Always wondered what happened to him ???

Dr. P has been my doctor for about 35 years now and has been the only doctor my children know and will see without a fuss. He is always kind, considerate of your wishes, thorough and will investigate all possible avenues for you. Nancy his nurse is efficient, kind and organized. They both stay on top of everything. Amazing caring service from 2 amazing people. You may have to wait but I would rather wait and get that kind of service and help then be rushed through the motions as a business transaction.

I often think of Dr Puckrin and wondered where he was now. He was our family doctor 38 years ago in Wawa, ON when I was a young girl, and he was just a young lad. I was very sick as a child and suffered terrible asthma due to allergies and had to visit him weekly for injections. He always was kind, thorough, great bedside manner, and most importantly had a sense of humor. At the sudden birth of my first son, he informed me later that he really had to burn rubber on his 10 speed to get to the hospital on time!
