I am reading some of the negative comments on Dr. Cohan and feel they saw another doctor. I was referred to Dr. Cohen due to a pituitary adenoma that has played havoc with my hormones. From day one Dr. Cohan was so attentive, supportive, he listened to my history and took action with lab work and working with other doctors. When I email him he responds right away, I have never waited long for him (at most 5 minutes) and he spends a lot of time with me and never dismissive of my concerns. Someone posted a racist remark about his culture...what does that have anything to do with his professional skills that are very remarkable. My situation has been a bit of a challenge which can be frustrating but he reassures me that he is not done with options and that means so much. I would recommend Dr. Cohan in a split second to anyone looking for an endocrinologist. I feel safe being in his hands because he is open to my questions since I research so much.

Dr. Cohan is one of the best there is! I wish all of my doctors were as kind, concerned and brilliant as he is. He has helped me tremendously through the first number of years of menopause and has continued to work with me throughout changes that have occurred. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I've been suffering from a chronic pituitary condition for nearly 5 years. I brought my case to Dr Cohan and he immediately listened to me and got me through the testing process very fast because i felt like i was dying. I've been through almost 15 physicians if not more. None even gave me a chance. Not only that, but Dr Cohan did something that no doctor does these days, he CARED. He was concerned about how I needed a support system from it. As psycho as I was constantly harassing and emailing him, he continued to help me and I know one day that I'll be cured and it'll be because of him. FANTASTIC DOCTOR. i can't say i'm sorry enough to him. and i can't stop thanking him. What a fantastic, brilliant, nice, COMPETENT doctor!!! definitely Worth taking money out of my savings.

Amazing doctor, he is brilliant and in incredible demand due to his talent. Yes sometimes you have to wait because he is helping someone with a serious issue- as that person has been me before I understand and appreciate his help to those in need. Can't say enough good things about him.

I have all the symptoms of hypothyroidism but with a low-normal TSH, and have had many prior labs. My FREE hormone levels were both very low normal. My PCP has seen the positive results from T4/T3 protocol, and the negative results when endocrinologists lower my medication because of my low TSH. She has been treating me, but sent me to this endo for fine tuning of meds. Dr. Cohan was extremely dismissive and patronizing, refused to discuss the latest medical research and practices or the evidence of tissue resistance reflected in my labs, and suggested I shouldn't be on meds at all ! He referred me to an "alternative" practitioner who deals with "anti-aging", not something I care about. I agree, he is EXTREMELY passive-aggressive and closed-minded. My PCP then raised my thyroid hormones to raise the FREE levels, my metabolic labs and blood pressure normalized without diet or exercise changes, and my bone density improved. AVOID him if your condition is in any way outside the norm.

Had craniopharyngioma done 2 years ago. Changed 4 endochrinologists. None of them knew what they were doing. Dr. Cohan saw me once, reviewed the history, tests, and treatment. Suggested something that was not even discussed by the previous providers, discussed the course of treatment, answered all the questions honestly without trying to hide the truth, gave me the prescription. And now, 6 weeks later I have had significant improvements and feel SO much better! If you want to save your health and time, don't bother with your regular endochrinologists, go to Dr. Cohan, and you will not be disappointed. Worth every cent!

Dr. Cohan looks good on paper but he refuses to work with other Docs. I came from the Mayo clinic and he told me that info was not good and they were nor "specialized" in my situation. He also told me I was going through menopause at the age of 20. When I doubled checked with my gyno she was very upset with him! It was untrue! Be careful. Also always go with an advocate.

Having had a chronic pituitary condition for many years, I started seeing Dr. Cohan and he dramatically changed my life for the better. He was very thorough and got me back to feeling normal. He is kind, understanding, listens, asks questions and monitors my labs with great detail. I thank God for Dr. Cohan!
