She is the best in the Valley. So nice and sweet but professional . I have seen her for the last 15 years

The waiting room has super comfy couches and the overall cleanliness was nice. Dr Zavala is fantastic. Very thorough and easy to talk to. Her staff however leave plenty to be desired. The hours are also impossible to make work if you have a day job. You will have to take off work and the staff make no apologies. They give you an "oh well, too bad" type of attitude. I also had them cancel an appointment last minute after I had taken the day off work to accommodate their limited hours. This left me with no birth control for an entire month as the appointment was to receive my birth control method. The following month I tried scheduling an appointment for the same purpose and was met with the same unsimpathetic attitude. Its too bad that with so many unemployed people out there that she has chosen such rude staff. I really like her as a doctor but will be in the market for a new Obgyn

I agree with some of the other ratings about the staff. They are sorta snudy and not very friendly, But Dr. Zavala is great. Not real warm and fussy, but professional and addresses any concerns thoroughly.

On this rating I am only addressing the treatment and lack of professionalism from Dr. Zabala staff. Two weeks before the appointment I started having menstrual problems and called back to ask if I could be seen earlier due to my symptoms but I was told I had to wait. The day of the appointment I presented two insurance cards the one I carry through my employer and the second one carried through my husband's employer. While filling out my medical history, I was able to hear the receptionist calling both insurances; not necessarily to verify whether or not I had coverage, but to verify that the insurances were aware of each other coverage. I was denied service because the receptionist was told they were not aware I had secondary coverage. The staff should make prospecting new patients aware over the phone of their many expectations when people have more than one health insurance and for Dr. Zabala to provide better training on customer courtesy and privacy on her employees'.

My sister referred me to Zavala. She is an Amazing Dr. I moved here 5 months pregnant and when most doctors wouldn't take you in that far along She did. She even delivered in Brawley when I didn't want to have my baby in El Cento. She had a lot a patience with me and was very kind. She was considerate to what I wanted. I would love to go to her again In any future pergnancy

Dr Zavala delivered all of my children. My second child was 10 lbs and his shoulders got stuck. She literally saved both me and my son's lives and he was not injured in the process. I knew someone else whose baby had a bad injury who didn't have Dr. Zavala. She always took the time to sit down and talk to me at each visit. If she is late, it's because she was giving her attn to the last patient. She will give you the same attention!

Every time I have a question for the dr I have to schedule an appointment. Get labs schedule an appointment even if it's unnecessary. My appointment was at 2 and didn't see the doctor until 3.

Dr. Zavala is a great doctor. She is very patient, knowledgeable, and caring. She listens to you and explains everything and makes you feel comfortable.

I thik this is the VERY BEST OBGYN ever. She is very helpful, and kowledgeable. She keeps close track of her patients, and follows up better then most MDs. She truly puts her patients first!!!!!!
