Dr. Bates operated on my shoulder, I saw his PA after the surgery. I could not get his staff to generate my Physical Therapy referral for three weeks after surgery despite many calls and broken promises by his fast-talking surgical coordinator, result; I had to wait for 4 weeks for post-operative PT.
Then my follow up after three months was cancelled at the office at appointment time, although I received text messages and an email pre-check in. Then the check in person at the Fleming Island office was argumentative after I checked in for my scheduled appointment.
The post operative care for Dr. Bates surgical team is a freaking CLOWN SHOW. The results of the surgery is TBD. I strongly recommend not seeing the provider.
