Horrible man. He yelled and screamed at me for choosing to not take a medication I felt wasn't right for me. Also insisting on giving my son a medication for a condition he DIDNT have. I never gave him the meds as he didn't need it. I should have filed several complaints against him. I didn't know better at the time. I'm not sure why he became a dr when he doesn't listen to his patients. He has a God complex and acts like he is the only one that knows best....in my opinion.

Dr.Short is a wonderful doctor . He takes the time with you rather then just go in and out of the office. He also doesn't push pills on you ! He is one of the best doctors I ever had .

Dr Short was my physician for the short time I lived in the Red Deer area. He is one of the kindest, nicest and most personable doctors I have ever had. He takes the time to get to know his patients and he involves himself in their treatment. If I would be living in Alberta still, he would be my doctor :-)

Dr Short is personable, honest and helpful. He is thorough yet efficient, and asked me smart questions to help with my physical. He shared new information that he learned recently in regards to breast examinations, and I felt very safe in his care. I only wish there were more like him.

I like Dr. Short. I like his method of practicing, talking to you, listening to you, judging you as only a doctor who cares would. He's human and pretends to be nothing else. This is a clinic; it's usually always busy, I'm sure not all patients are waiting for him. Anyone who think's he's 'behind the times', 'slow' or 'unknowledgable' needs to make a visit to one of the medical clinics or even a hospital in one of this countrys City's to have any idea what they're talking about. As for his 'fatal misdiagnosis' I'm sure a lawyer would do a better job of accusing him of something like that than the readers of this forum.

Dr. Short was our family Dr. in North Battleford, Sask. for 17 years. He delivered my three children and helped my family through a serious illness with a family member. His staff was very good. Yes, we often had to wait, but he did not rush you when it was your turn. He was kind, compassionate, and took time to find out what was wrong. He was cautious with prescribing drugs and often did not. He most often stayed until after 6 p.m. to see his waiting room full of sick patients. He is a terrific man who was seriously overworked here. His care was second to none. Our family and community miss him dearly! Thank you, Dr. Short for the care and concern you had for those of us in North Battleford.

Dr. Short would do well to read these ratings. His reputation is going downhill quickly and I believe he should quit practising. He told me he wished he had gone into dentistry. I wish he had too. My sister-in-law might be alive today if he had listened to her symptoms. Instead he made a rash diagnosis. If anyone is looking for a doctor, I would highly suggest you look to someone else. I switched from him and the one I've got now is a gem.

First off what's with all the whispering in the clinic_ very odd and very old fashioned. This clinic is stuck in a time warp- Its 2010! Dr. Short should not see anyone who is under 35, he cant relate. I'm not sure he keeps up with new medication? I told him about this one medication that my brother used in Edmonton, He said it would cost a lot..!! So I said I have a plan that will cover it_ he was going to give me some old medication that has been around for 15 years and not try the new stuff on me..1st off- your not my accountant- let me worry about how much it costs and second off start to read more about new medications.. never again will I see him.. weird man
