Dr. Young provided excellent service for my son under difficult circumstances. He always had attention toward the best care for the patient. Great bedside manner, good humor, obvious expertise.

Dr. Young was compassionate and dedicated to my husband's care. He was not our pre-existing doctor, took us in immediately as a walk-in referral, and then personally walked my husband over to Cedars to admit him to the hospital. Dr. Young is expert in his knowledge and handled my husband's rather complex case with compassion and diligence, bringing in other expert to help solve a puzzling problem, which according to one 60 year old neurology professor, he had only seen one other example of in his entire career. Dr. Young is in fact very caring, but when you have a serious neurological problem what you need foremost is an expert and Dr. Young is a terrific one.

Dr. Young has helped me in many ways. I have recomended him to others and they all felt he was a super Dr. He is very caring and spent all the time I needed. He even called a day later to see how i was doing.

This is a little update for Dr. Young. Unfortunately, his bed-side manners have diminished. He has one of the worst bed-side manners I've ever experienced with a doctor. I have never had a doctor who was so condescending in a consultation. Upon not being able to diagnose my symptoms and frustrated with not being able to answer my questions, he responded to me by a clap and an exclaimation of, "It is what it is." His exact words. And a quick prescription write off to cushion everything. Fortunately, I went to another neurologist who was thorough in his explanations and has had 25 years of experience and told me that he would have never given me that prescription. I would not recommend this neurologist and have spread the word of my experience to many beyond this website.

Dr. Young is a very kind, caring man. He really wants to help his patients. Even when he has to refer out for something and hospitalization is required he comes to see you in the hospital even when it's not necessary. Only problem is his practice has gotten so busy, he seems very rushed and distracted at times now.
