Dr Mozia performed many necessary surgeries on me from 1987 to 1991. He is the most talented, compassionate, amazing surgeon I will ever have had. He saved my life and I consider him an angel. He worked tirelessly and skillfully throughout the many, many years I have known him. A wonderful man and surgeon.

Dr Mozia removed my gall bladder and when I woke up from surgery I was screaming in pain. I was covered in bruises and it looked like someone beat my stomach and sides with a bat. I had enormous bruises and Dr Mozia lied to me and said it was normal. My primary doctors said he was careless and possibly did internal damage, It took 6 weeks for the bruises to heal. I see he recently lost his medical licenses. Its about time the state of Colorado got off their lazy asses and did something about this doctor with his license to kill!

During a diagnostic procedure it was found that I had a very large tumor growing into my bladder and colon. I asked the gals at the check-out desk who they would recommend for the surgery. They said that Dr. Mozia was the best. I figured if they knew that, I wanted him!
The following week I met Dr. Mozia, and with the hope the tumor was not cancer--I went into surgery. During several hours of surgery Dr Mozia performed the tedious surgery cutting down to less than an inch of re<tum, leaving just enough to not need a colostomy at my side. And there was no cancer. Dr. Mozia had given me my life back.
I had a hysterectomy 10 or so years earlier and that surgeon had left tissue behind and that's probably what caused the tumors. And I hear this over and over again from other women. What a shame! But what a blessing we had Dr. Mozia.
I owe Dr. Mozia my life and my lifestyle. His compassion and skill are beyond any other and I am sad that he is no longer practicing.
When I called to set up an appointment for follow-up care, HE WAS GONE--RETIRED!!
I am having great difficulty finding a physician to replace him for my follow-up care. I don't even know where to begin to look for someone of his abilities.
My only wish is that he or someone who represents him would refer me or help me find a replacement, as wonderful a doctor as Dr. Mozia.
Any ideas out there?

Excellent doctor but is now retired. I probably wouldn't be alive today if it weren't for him. I had to have several bowel surgeries due to obstructions. My obstructions were due to a botched surgery to remove my ovaries. She put in some kind of a sling and as a result my insides were really messed up.

Dr. Mozia was new to Lutheran Medical center. I had just had intestinal surgery by another physician. I went to Dr. Mozia as a new patient to a new doctor in Wheat Ridge. Dr. Mozia could tell I needed repair of a surgery I had performed by another surgeon. Dr. Mozia performed a "repair surgery" on what I had previously had performed...what a great difference I experienced after having Dr. Mozia perform his surgery!!!! I will be very thankful for the professional way he performed his surgery. I have since referred other family and friends to Dr. Mozia. He has a very carrying manner about how he treated me!!!

Dr. Mozia had to fix what another surgeon had not done correctly. If if wasn't for Dr. Mozia, i would have a colostomy bag now. but because of his expertise, my quality of life has been great. I will always be grateful to him.

Dr Mozia is an incredible Doctor! He did my husband's surgery last year and he is feeling great. Let me just say, that before showing up at Dr Mozia's office we were seeing a different physician who performed 4 surgeries without any positive results. We went to see Dr Mozia as a second opinion, and it took him only one procedure to fix everything. I would never recommend any other surgeon than Dr Mozia. It is a blessing to meet such professionals like him. Thank you so much.

Dr. Mozia is an amazing man and an incredible surgeon! My j-pouch surgery in 2004 to cure my colitis was the best decision I ever made and after hearing about others who had post-surgery difficulties (with other surgeons), I know I owe it all to Dr. Mozia. I am back to doing everything I ever wanted to do, I have my life back and I feel incredible!
