Hard working, was managing 3-4 other patients at same time in the chair area. He was polite, friendly and told my kid and I what was needed. He was very good with my kid and made him feel comfortable.

Rude, condescending, and dismissive. Didn’t listen to a word i said told me go home. It took another (more competent Dr.) to figure out it was my gallbladder. This clown said he read my stuff (which can’t be true) because a scan I had a week previously (for something else) showed the issue.

I saw him in the ER and he was very busy. He did his best to listen to all of my concerns. He ordered some blood work and examined me. He thought I was OK to go home. He ordered a CT scan to make sure I did not have anything worse. I did not. I thought his communication was excellent, he answered all my questions and even answered all my partners questions. He told me what to look for and when to come back if I needed to. Very professional. Thank you DR. MIKE

Dr. Vliet was the only person to listen to me in years when I told him about the pain I was having. He actually managed to make things happen and figure out that my gall bladder was getting ready to explode.

It takes a special person to work the ER night shift. Always remember that - the influx and variety of patients is insane. He may have edges, but fantastic doctor. Treated my son’s broken shoulder with efficiency and effectiveness. Made sure we were all good before leaving. Solid doctor. Thank you.

There is a reason this doctor works in ER. No one would see him voluntarily. He should not be a doctor. He is rude, gruff, and condescending. He does not care about your health, he just wants to check the boxes and cash out. Stay as far away as you can from this one!

I saw this doctor in ER. Told me after 3 weeks of vomiting there was no reason for it and I should just go home. He was literally in the hospital for a grand total of 5 minutes and told me that he had looked at all of my scans and there was nothing wrong. He STRONGLY emphasized there was nothing wrong without mentioning anything they found on any of my scans which I found out from my regular GP who noticed a several different issues on my scans which required further testing. Totally unimpressed as I could have gotten the scans done when I was physically in the hospital instead of having to come back on several more occasions on an outpatient basis to get these scans done.

I have had this doctor three times in Trail emergency and pray every time I have to go back that he will not be on. I reported him to my family doctor, but couldn’t remember his name. My last visit I got him again and memorized his name so I could look him up on line, to see if others have had my rude, condescending, demoralizing attitude to deal with. I couldn’t believe how many experienced the same things I did. He made me feel like a fool for coming into emergency, even when it was a heart issue, where you always question that yourself, but are told by 811 to get in now. It makes you feel worried about going and could actually be a reason why you might not go for fear of dealing with his remarks and demeaning comments. I was shocked to see some good comments. I deduced that he is either prejudiced or very moody.
