Dr. Aftergood is a knowledgeable, patient, doctor who will take time to explain everything you want to know in plain english. And he has a bedside manner! Not an alarmist.

Dr. Aftergood was able to explain things to me so that I actually understood it all. I left his office with a better understanding of what is happening to me than I have had in a year and a half and equally important I left with a game plan. Although I'm a medicare patient, he took a long time with me to understand my situation and it was obvious that he cares more about the patient than the money. I'm so glad to have found him.

When I went to Dr Aftergood I told him that I was so tired that I could hardly get out of bed in the morning to walk my dog and that very often after I did I went back to bed. I could hardly function I was so tired and had no energy. He told me there was nothing he could do for me! So I went to another endocrinologist who told me my TSH was so low I was in the abnormal range. I remember this Drs name because After I stopped seeing him I felt Good.

I like that Dr Aftergood is willing to spend extra time to be thorough and to follow up on an issue, and will research himself when a course of treatment is not immediately apparent.

I've been his patient for about 20 years. He is kind, caring, low-key, intelligent, helpful, and what else can I say about this sweet man? Members of his staff have been with him more than 20 years, and they are great.
