My first apt the office wasn’t even open when I arrived on time. The Dr was informative and advised me he would put me in at 6am for surgery. And how important it was to be on time!!!! I scheduled it and made difficult arrangements to be picked up after surgery. The day before surgery I was advise a much later surgery time from the hospital - complicating my arrangements. (Prior to that I tried to call the drs office pertaining to insurance no less than 8 times.. you can never get thru to the dr office and returned calls are unheard of! ) The day of surgery I waited two hours for my newly scheduled time and never saw the doctor beforehand / never saw him after- my finance received a brief call saying “it all was as expected”..I still have never spoken to the Dr and have not received a follow up call. Honestly, I can not speak of his work as it is too soon- however experience with this Dr and his office leaves my very unsatisfied! I would look elsewhere.

Dr. Saclarides helped me through my diagnosis of stage 3 rectal cancer. I'm confident that he is the best doctor in the field. He was determined to help me live a "new normal" life after my surgeries and listened tirelessly to every side effect, fear and concern I had. I always looked forward to "visiting" him at every appointment. He has my eternal respect and I highly recommend him!

My wife had suffered for years with a bowel problem that even I was unaware of, and after care from gastrinologists, was referred to Dr. Sacralides as [the Guru] and in short order discovered the problem, and the means to solve her suffering. Everything we were told to expect went as mentioned, and after a stay in the hospital, and follow up; everything was corrected and now my wife is completely satisfied about her decision. We consider this doctor more as a friend than just a doctor, and will always hold him in high esteem. It's been 7 years since surgery and there has been no complications, and we do come in for visits, [more to see the doctor] than actual problems!

This Dr. helped my husband . Things seemed hopeless until we went to him. He is the elite of the elite. His son is an intern at Loyola what a nice caring person. He is following in his fathers footsteps.

Dr. Saclarides is a good Dr.. However he moved from Rush to loyola which is a huge difference. The quality of loyola compared to rush does not compare. Unfortunately, Dr. Saclarides has changed. He use to know our family well and smile. He is very arrogant now and I feel that he doesn't look for the cause of the problem if he doesn't see something. He will just refer you out or say that's not his expertise. When he was at Rush he would dive deep and help anyone. His wife was also helping him at rush and she was great. I feel bad that such a good Dr can be tarnished. I wouldn't see him at loyola and this is coming from a patient of over 10 years.

He is the best. Sometimes you have to wait a long time due to an emergency but when it's your turn, he spends all the time you need. Very skilled, great bedside manner.

He is the worst surgeon ever! He failed to inform me of all the possible complications prior to a sigmoid resection. Three months post-op, he told me to go see another surgeon and was unwilling to find a resolution to the complications I was suffering. Since that surgery 6 months ago, I have endured terrible diarrhea and constipation, as well as severe abdominal pain. Further research by my internest showed that irritable bowel syndrome is a known complication for many patients following this procedure and some never recover. This surgeon had a duty to inform me of this and, had I known this was a possibility, I would never had allowed him to perform the surgery. Both he and his nurse repeatedly said, "you'll be fine, you'll be fine." Run for your life from this man!
