Dr. Fischer is a great doctor but she had some terrible office management. Once she got rid them , she was wonderful...I would highly recommend her

One of the worst doctors I've ever dealt with. Rude, unprofessional, and borderline unethical. She barely listened to my teenage son, brushed off my questions, stood up in the middle of our scheduled appointed time to leave because it was after 6 PM and she wanted to go home. Then told us she was probably leaving her current practice and we should probably consider other options. No question about that! She was awful!

She yelled at me and threatened to beat me up! Do not come to this doctor unless you want to be treated like garbage!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! The staff at compass health are completely incompetent. They are rude and incapable of handling any type of insurance request. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. My family member has an emergency due to the lack of standard of care at this office and there is no way to contact anyone. He couldn't even leave a message. He was just put on hold for an hour without even speaking to a live person. He has also waited for over 4.25 hours to see the doctor and 3 hours is about the average wait time. The doctor does not spend enough time with him and doesn't listen to his issues. 0 stars in all categories. If you need help definitely do not go to compass health.

I was able to schedule an appointment within a week as a new client. The staff had just moved to the new location and the office space looks nice. I did not see Dr. Fischer, but I did see another psychiatrist.... Dr. Brian xxxx (can't remember last name). He was great and really knew his stuff. He conencted with me, and truly listened to what I talked about. I think the doctors are very competent and good at what they do.

However, I have two big concerns with the office. 1) you cannot get in touch with the office directly. They don't give anybody their direct line so you are already connected to some guy or girl who hate their job and do not want to help at all. You are connected to the main line for Compass Health and they refuse to connect you to Dr. Diana Fischer's office. #2) it has been 4 days since my visit and the front desk personnel have not called in my prescription! This is unheard of. The worst part is, I can't call them to tell them. I have to leave a message with the main line and hope they actually call Dr. Fischer's office.

Because of this reason, I do not think I can recommend anybody to this office. 3 people worked the front desk and none of them remembered to call my insurance company? They don't take phone calls so what on earth are they doing that they can't make one phone call?

Dr. Fischer has moved to her new office in Boynton Beach. I have been a patient of hers for nearly 10 years. After visiting Dr. Fischer in her new office, it is apparent that the problems identified by most surveys were related to her support staff at the Lake Worth office. I agree totally. Her staff was a nightmare, especially Ron the manager. That has all changed for the better. She is in a practice with many other doctors and the support staff is amazing. AND...no glass window! (you know what I mean!) I was called for my appointment 5 minutes early. You now are interviewed by an intern prior to meeting with the doctor. When you meet with the doctor, she now has all of that information and is ready to meet with your. Having a new support staff has changed her whole demeanor. She is relaxed and the absence of stress is apparent on her face. If you were a patient of hers in the past and were turned off by the office staff, give her another try. You will be amazed!

Dr. Diana Fischer has to be the worst psychiatrist I have had to deal with in my over 25+ years of seeking treatment. Her office staff (Judith, Ron) was rude and inefficient. It was norm to have to wait to see her for 3+ hrs. I actually witnessed one of her patients in July 2013 have a meltdown in her waiting room and callous way she was treated by Dr. Fischer. I was charged my usual $20 copayment by Judith on 11/6/13 only to find out when I entered that Dr. Fischer was not even there and her Office Manager Ron saw me! I am still trying to recoup my $20 copayment! Never got my medication, had to see another psychiatrist! She never came up to the Psych Ward or even called me after my suicide attempt on 6/11/13! She has now suddenly transferred her office to 8200 Jog Road, Suite 100, Boynton Beach, FL 33437 tel. 561-752-9490 as of 3/24/14. BUYER BEWARE!

Probably the worst staff on the planet. Very insulting. The male office secretary, Ron Hochstadt, asked me out on a date the first time I went there. I was with my kids and had my wedding ring on. He made me feel so uncomfortable. I smelt alcohol on his breath. I will NEVER go back.

Over the 4 years of our acquaintance I have found Dr Fischer to be compassionate, intelligent, concise and very helpful. As a social worker and depressive, I have had contact with a very large number of psychiatrists and am glad to know one who is both unpretentious and caring. I never wait long to see her. Those who hate to wait can always call ahead to find out how late she is running and adjust their arrival time accordingly. Even the mentally ill can take this little bit of responsibility to manage their own time. Emergencies abound in the field of psychiatry and this must be considered and respected. No one needs to sit there and wait if he or she doesn't want to. Also, if you need to talk see a therapist, clinical psychologist or social worker. It is not the role of a psychiatrist to sit and listen to all of our problems. She evaluated me and made her recommendations, as it should be. Patients do not dictate their own diagnoses, medications or prescriptions to a doctor.
