By far the very best medical treatment that I have ever received. Dr Kay is amazing!

My friend went into emergency in Kitimat with extreme right chest pain, and this Dr. became visually distressed and said something along the lines of "Oh this is bad, this could be bone cancer". Seriously? Who says that??? This person had just recovered from breast cancer. It turned out to be a rib fracture. Where is the professionalism?

You will search far and wide to find a doctor like Ms. Kay. She is both cheerful and thorough in her field. She works tirelessly helping people so just remember, she is human and not a machine. She definitely makes Kitimat a much better place to live.

She was amazing and asked every question she could and ran tests. She is definitely my preferred doctor.

Very helpful and pleasant doctor. She was a bit late, but that is not up to her but because of the doctor shortage. You can see that she is trying to give her attention to all her patients, unfortunately there is just so much a person can do in a day. Would definitely recommend her!

Dr. Kay failed her due diligence by not inspecting, viewing nor discussing with the patient. She also failed to explore potential diagnostics and offer minimal preventive means, sending us back home without any stabilization of the ankle and no information nor instructions about how to help the healing process. I suggest if you have similar experience to file a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. I hope this process will help improve the health care level offered at Kitimat General Hospital, Northern Health.

Our child was sick in emerge and Doctor Kay was nothing but professional, she made our child’s care top priority and made my husband and I feel at ease, she informed us about their treatment plan often. I would most definitely recommend her.

I cannot comment on the staff/office as she is not our family doctor.

I recently had to see Dr. Kay in the emergency room because she was the doctor on call for that day. I found her very kind and caring. She listened to my concerns and she was able to refer me to see a surgeon the next day. (On a weekend!) She is not my family doctor but she treated me with great respect! She’s a lovely doctor

I love both Dr. Kay & Dr. Skully. They have both always been fantastic with me. They have treated me with respect, never once have either of them talked down to me. I am tired of hearing people complain about the wait times. This is a hospital, not a clinic, not a private practice, a hospital, where emergencies happen on the daily, they deal with all sorts of patients all day and its time people respect that.

I have never had an issue and will continue to see both of them :)

I had dr.Kay for years, she has a rotating schedule with 2 other doctors... I used to book only her, (I would wait the three months) She is attentive and has great bed side manner. Always a delight to deal with, and also delivered my daughter. Fantastic Doctor!
