I have no idea how this Dotor is a Doctor. I have been feeling very light headed a lot and I've been getting the shakes to the point where I feel like I am going to pass out. He orded Iron & Thyroid blood work and told me that I need to watch what I eat (my diet hasn't changed at all and I go to the gym regularly & eat very healthy.) While waiting to get in the first time I had to wait 2 weeks as he was on vacation. I went in to see the week he got back & the g=following week after that I got my blood work back (evrything was clear.) but I knew something was up so I asked to book another appointment, the lady told me he was leaving again for 2 weeks and the Doctor covering him was gone for 2 weeks as well, so basically I had to wait 2 weeks to him. I couldn't wait that long because I almost faited at work so I am currently seeking a second opinion.

I had pains in my abdominal didn't know what was going on .
My pee dark brown , went to Wallaceburg hospital for a ultrasound they told me Dr Hasting would get back to me in a couple days to let me know about the results .
TWO WEEKS LATER ... I'm at work they called me there about 10 am
Dr Hastings nurse tells me on the phone , Dr Hastings wants to see you right away it's about the ultrasound ??
Me kind of quiet, I started getting nervous so I say to the nurse ... is it something bad ??
She replies , I don't know he just wants to see you as soon as possible ?!
I arrived at Dr Hastings clinic sat there almost an hr waiting unpaciently they'd inlay call me into his room .
He walks in and tries to make a funny comment as soon as he walks in I ignore it
Right after he tells me I have Pankrious cancer ... I just froze didn't know what to say , it's like everything got quiet inside me. I asked him are you sure !
He said yes . So he made me an appointment for a catscan not the same day but for Friday and this was a Monday ??? So my wife now got me in the next day in Windsor at Met hospital
Come to find out I never had cancer!!!
He changed my cholesterol pill on my it was screwing up my liver , gallbladder and my Pankrious !

Absolutely one of worst doctors out there. I'd trust my 5 month old son with a diagnosis than that dummy.

Normally I'm not one to do this., but Dr. Hastings has misdiagnosed me twice now. The first time, he never came within 10 feet of me and told me I had something I did NOT have, and proceeded to put me on an antibiotic that contained an ingredient I was allergic to. Then the other day I was in emerg, and I had mono and he said I had nothing (even though mono showed up in my blood), last night I received a phone call that I also have Strep B. They also asked if I was pregnant...The 8 vials of my blood they took, or glass of urine could have answered their question. Or, ask me up front. Since I'm a woman that is generally one of the first questions I am asked. Dr. Hastings should NOT be able to practice medicine. I'd feel safer sleeping in the middle of the 401, than in his care.

I buckled my ankle at a show one night. Instantly my ankle swelled and turned black and blue. After the show, the pain was immense. I went to er and sat there for an hour or two. In triage I was given tramadol which helped me not think of the pain as much. Hastings ordered X-rays. He came in and said that my ankle wasn't busted and gave me crutches. Before I left I asked him to refill my bp meds because I havent a gp due to my family doc retiring. Anyways, he looked at me and said" this isn't my problem. I'll give you a months worth but after that you are out of luck". I felt stupid and hobbled out. Anyways, I worked over the next 2 months limping. Finally 3 months later, I got a call from a foot doctor saying that I was referred by Hastings for a broken foot. Thanks a lot Hastings for letting my foot heal broken.

I wish I could fire Hastings. I came to him with health concerns and 10 years of records he never refers to. He refused me a cardiologist / rheumatologist. Recently said to change my gastroenterologist for a Chatham one. I REFUSED. I dropped to 98 pounds and reported I drank contaminated water up north and sure I had a parasite / bacteria. A FULL YEAR AND STILL he has me come in EVERY MONTH and DOES NOTHING BUT SITS AT COMPUTER. See you next month he says. I demanded tests until finally he did one kind only 5% accurate and then said "you have exhausted all physical reasons", I'll speak to your husband PRIVATELY as though I lied. He relies on lab tests and statistics. HE HAS NEVER PUT HANDS ON ME TO EXAMINE, EVER. He refused to feel a lump! He never brings my chart. NEVER seeks more info. HE IMPLIES I AM STUPID, IS RUDE, HATES if I question, is assuming and unknowledgeable on updates in medicine and pain management skills. I will now go to Lockwood Clinic T.O. for proper care/concern.

This Doctor is awful.. I have back problems, I've had a disc out and have 2 others that need to be 'trimmed'. My Doctor retired and my wife and myself needed a new one asap. We got Hastings. Cut all my meds in half and left me in pain for 2 years. He's been known as "Dr. Death". Said their are really no other good meds for a back cept like perks. (I was getting 120 a month he cut it to 60) and wondered why I kept asking for more. Even my wife tried getting some meds for her migraine and he said over the counter stuff will do. He said if he gave her the stonger stuff she'd get addicted to it and even maybe start "hooking" to get more. We got a new Doctor in Chatham finally, I got the proper meds for my back finally. Never get this Dr, If you need, one go to the ER. You WILL have better luck there. Unless he's working. Even took my sick son to him one tme and told me he's young and strong he can tough it out. Who says that. Plus wait times are about an hour or more..

I don't know exactly where to start my rating. My doctor moved away in Sept 2007 and because of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in 1986 where my foot was almost torn off and the foot peg went through my ankle taking 11 hrs to put back together i was in ALOT of pain and had been on pain medication since 2003 . He ALSO called me a drug addict and gave me 3 tylenol 3's a day for 2 months , I had been taking 6 percocet a day for a year, I begged him not to let me suffer like this and that i was waiting to see a specialist in Toronto in october he told me then ask him for pain meds. So when i did the specialist said he wouldnt be seeing me enough and gave me a letter to give to Dr. hastings saying that a below the knee amputation would be probable and Dr. Hastings still refused to give me anything but amytriptiline and tramadol which are not to be taken together they cause seizures. so i started looking for a new Dr.. I was truly thinkin about suicide because of the pain (SAD)

i had back surgery and am still in alot of pain. i went to him for a refil on my pain medication and he refused to give it to me. he called me a drug addict and wanted to leave me in pain. I immediatly dropped him as a doctor. who is he to accuse a person of something that isnt even close to being true.

He has not asked the right questions of my wife to determine her health concerns and made appointment with a specilist to look at her and said office would call when someone sheduled, and has been over 2 weeks and no calls from office, When I try to call office, have to go thru muliple phone options to reach someone. Wish we had our old doctor back.
