Dr. Hoffman delivered my second child after we moved in from another state. I thought about switching mid-pregnancy over his comments about my decision to NOT get the flu shot (which were arrogant and ), but I stuck with him. Now, more than halfway through my third pregnancy, I am switching to a midwife. I love his staff. I have no doubts he is a wonderful surgeon or generally great for many women, but in my last appointment with him, he again came off as arrogant and indignant. He would not listen to my requests and did not have answers for my questions about how to avoid the horrid post-partum healing process I had with my second baby. Both of my babies births, I had vaginal, natural births (no meds), but he performed an episiotomy very quickly without asking/telling me he was doing so. My first OB did an episiotomy as well, but I healed much quicker without even "taking it easy" the first time. Dr. H gave me no real options for my third delivery. I'm disappointed.

The staff at HOFFMAN's ofc didnt call back after saying they would several times about a cancellation. I needed to be seen and they said they would call back the next day. I had to call them. When I finally visited, I asked the dr about some of my most concerning symptoms and he shrugged & said i don't know . Before leaving the room after many Idks he patted my shoulder and said come back when you're pregnant. I called back after 2 wks when they said they would call me about test results & again they said tht would return my call and never did. When I called this time JUDY who is usually nice,just irresponsible was rude placed me on hold in the middle of a sentence and came back to argue about what I was saying. I told her she misunderstood because she placed me on hold before I could explain and she again put me on hold without notice.Finally Nurse LAURA got on.. She is nice but her news was no better. "the doctor didn't feel the need to test your urine" FIND A KNOWLEDGABLE DR.

Dr. Hoffman was very disrespectful to my husband and myself. We were always early to our appointment and were not seen until at least 30min after our scheduled time. This is my first child and he provided me with no information regarding what I should and should not eat, what I can and cannot take, how to deal with health issues. He ignored my husband who is very involved and came to each appointment. His staff also ignored my husband and did not involve him in any relevant conversations. I was disgusted by his arrogance and dismissive attitude towards us. I have never had a doctor make me feel so uncomfortable.

Dr. Hoffman was extremely professional and I would recommend him to anyone. I was high risk and had some challenges during delivery--he was composed but also compassionate (much needed for an emotional mama!)

I've been looking for the perfect doctor for a while. It took time to find one. Dr. Hoffman is the one. He is very knowledgeable, competent, polite, nice, friendly, patient and treats his patients gently. I feel I'm in good hands, safe. The staff is VERY nice, polite and helpful.

I have great memories of Dr. Hoffman. He found an inguinal hernia (which is kind of rare) after my pregnancy that my midwife had missed. He was always caring.
