I had an 8:50am appt and everyone checked in AFTER me was seen first. I was the only Black woman there and the white one's were called first. I left at 11:30!!! I was put in the exam room and left there so I was irrate and I walked out! Dr Shirley tried to apologize. Very pathetic and racist office. If you're not white don't risk your health. DON'T EVER GO!!

Dr. V Shirley had me convinced she was an excellent doctor, but once she put a birth control Implant in my arm, here's where she messed up: she put neosporin on the open wound and slapped a band aid on it like it was nothing even when it was bleeding. I had an adverse reaction which may have not been her fault, but the makers of the impant told me she should have WRAPPED MY ARM IN GAUZE AND KEPT IT COMPRESSED FOR 5-6 HOURS OR LONGER. I bled for more than 24 hours off and on soaking through each band aid. My arm was black and blue. I went to the ER and they said it for sure was an adverse reaction. They wrapped it in gauze and prescribed me an RX Anti histimine, an Anti Inflammatory drug to help with it, and a painkiller. I am furious with this doctor. Let's see if I EVER go back to her again. Dr. V Shirley ALWAYS overbooked herself- you would probably have to wait weeks- month to see her. I was in her office for an hour and a half and most of it was sitting around. Do NOT go to her!

Dr. Shirley is not punctual, but she makes up for it as she spends a good amount of time with you answering all your questions so it is undertandable sinc she does that with each of her patients! Plus she is solo practice until recently and had to deliver babies sometimes, but staff has always been helpful, just sometimes have to wait for her for a long time.

This office is really unprofessional. Having 2 ultra sounds they managed to mess up my due date which led to blood test coming back positive. The blood test should be performed between 16 and 18 weeks, they draw my blood on 23rd!!! We had to go through emotional rollercoaster. After high risk specialist found out the due date was incorrect he simply called the result of the blood test "complete garbage" and sent us home with good news - the baby was healthy. Dr. Shirley not only didn't apologize but knowing that the due date was incorrect sent false information to my new doctor's office!!! After I called Dr. Shirley's office to canceled my appointment and told a nurse I am changing the doctor, they just simply said, "Oh.. ok, good bye." No questions why, what they did wrong, what should they have work on... no customer service... I was shocked... Before you make a choice to go and see her, please research and ask people around. Don't risk and look for a good doctor... Good luck!!!
