Dr. Dohn is one in a million. He recently started caring for my father while he was in the hospital. My father is over 80 and has serious kidney problems but he loves life and is not ready to call it quits. Dr. Dohn saw the sparkle in my Dad's eyes and wanted to help my father live as full of a life as possible. Dr. Dohn took a genuine interest in my father's health as compared to another Doctor who was a kidney specialist and wanted to provide just "Comfort Care". Dr. Dohn even continued to care for my father after he left the hospital and oversaw his care while he was at a skilled nursing facility. He helped me ensured that the facility continued to provide physical therapy and occupational therapy for my father even though the facility wanted to discharge him. I am happy to say that after 4 months, my father is now back home thanks to Dr. Dohn who continues to provide the highest level of expertise and personal care for my father.

Dr dohn is very unorganized. He makes appointments on his iphone.(and takes calls durring). He once took my blood pressure over my bunched up jacket sleeve, then told me my bp was high and we could prescribe something. Not a normal office, no receptionist, never possible to have urgent appointments.

Richard Dohn was assigned by the Good Samaritan Hospital In-Patient Acute Care facility to take care of our son, who was recovering from brain surgery. He came to his bed three times, each time reportedly for a just few minutes. He charged CIGNA a total of $1730. He received from CIGNA nearly $1300 and now tries to collect from us the difference. Neither he nor his Office ever replied to phone calls. He is the worst doctor we have so far encountered, also seemingly quite incompetent in his professional approach to a patient's need and condition.

Dr. Don is unresponsive to patient communication. When you in the exam room with him, he's not paying attention to your issues. He has you in and out of the exam room faster than you can believe and your left with your condition unnoticed, unanswered, unresolved and out of the docs office after hours of waiting going... Huh.. what just happened here?? If you want to be treated like a nobody.. Dr Don is your "Doc in a Box"
