Came in with shoulder pain. He said it was my neck, Proceeded to book a series of 36 appointments, three times a week. He spent less than three (3) minutes with me. Wasn't really interested in helping me, just billable hours and selling me products. Quit after two weeks of "no-result" sessions. Asked about exercises I could do at home and was told that "we'd get there eventually". No thanks.

I had inconsistent care from Dr. Reed. I came in after a car accident in severe pain and my first visit was extremely helpful and relieved a lot of the pain so I didn’t hesitate to follow his recommendations for multiple treatments a week, especially as ICBC would cover the costs.
As time went things were less consistent. If I had specific issues he was good and listening and effective at helping but when I expressed that I was feeling fine and didn’t think i needed so many appointments there was huge pressure to continue anyway, even after my insurance ran out.
I went for one appointment feeling fine and walked out with tingling and numbness in my right hand. I also felt the videos and posters around the office making claims about how chiropractic helps overall health were a bit of a red flag.
I stopped going after an appointment where I was forgotten about in a treatment room for 45 minutes and then asked about how an exercise at home was going that I had never been prescribed.
It felt like generating income was more important than patient care at this office. I won’t go back.

Terrible! Dr. Reed is a revolving door, and that is it.

Went for all the tests/ X-rays and was told I’d need 40+ visits to see results. After about 10 (very expensive/ SHORT) visits I quit. Had no positive results whatsoever. I was severely injured after one treatment, in my neck, which caused me to be worse off than when I’d started with him. Lots of better Drs in Nanaimo!

My husband has severe neck and upper back pain. Reed insisted on an protracted assessment with x-rays but no treatment for $175.00. For me this set off alarm bells. He came in pain and left in pain, not the patient first approach I would have anticipated or have experienced with other far more experienced chiros.

Not only is this doctor arrogant and not a nice person, he's a horrible chiropractor. After seeing him I had nothing but problems and when I tried to express to him how I was feeling, he blew me off. Since talking to others I have found many who agree and 2 that were physically injured. Beware!!

I was a patient for about a year when I had to drastically reduce my visits due to financial reasons. They were not happy....kept trying to bill me for reassessments that I wasn't getting. I stopped going altogether for a year for the same reason. The other day I called the clinic, in severe pain with sciatica etc., after jamming my hip doing strenuous work and was told that they would not adjust me until I had gone through a whole new evaluation and testing - in other words, spent another $165.00+, because I hadn't been there in a year! So much for concern for their patients - only concern is for getting their patients' money!!! Do your bank account a favor & find a different chiropractor.

In two words, Amazing & Grateful! The care I've received for over 5 years has been amazing in the results and I am grateful for having him as a doctor. Through regular back care and then after an accident he has been available to listen to the problems and follow through with excellent care. Highly recommend Dr. Reed as well as the Wellness Centre.

Due to move to Nanaimo, saw this new chiropractor x 1 for assessment. Staff and chiropractor seem to follow a strict script & if not followed exactly ( eg. watching unnecessary videos with patient testimonials with pervading theme of how "happy" they are to pay for chiropractic services)then he is not willing to follow the client. Very unprofessional and rigid. Will go back to my previous chiropractor even if means having to drive extra miles

I have been a patient of Dr. Reeds since the inception of Reed Family Clinic. Before I met him I had been in constant pain for a couple of years. After a few months of adjustments I have been pain free for several years. I return for maintenance monthly. He has changed my life as I had back pain that ran down my leg constantly, night and day. Everything about the clinic is great and the staff is wonderful!!
