This dr. had pets in the office with baracades set up which her office staff had to step over - very unsafe. The dogs urinated on the floor and pooped. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They mix medicatino here so it seemed unsanitary. The staff will not give me my records or file my insurance.

I went to Dr Wohlman at the recommendation of several friends that go to her. I was feeling tired and run down. It ended up my hormones were out of balance and I started using her compounded creams and after about three weeks I feel like a new person. I would highly recommend her. On one visit the wait was about an hour and the other time the wait was only 15 minutes. Not any different than most other Dr's that I go to. She definitely knows her stuff

I have used Dr. Wohlman for about 4 years and while I agree that the wait used to be lengthy when she was at the B'ham location, I now go to the Millbrook office and choose a morning appt. that gets me in quickly. I find her to be one of the most knowledgeable doctors I've had but can see that her bedside manner is not for everyone. But, my main concern is her expertise. I go for hormone therapy and nutrition. Not into the "procedures" for the face...Ronnie, her assistant, is probably a little over the top for all the procedures that he has had and that may work against her clinic in trying to sell that kind of stuff. But, he is very nice and knowledgeable.

I am very sorry to say I agree with the other reviews. I had hopes that I had found a good holistic physician for my family, but my husband and I both found Dr. Wohlman to be rude, dismissive, and not willing to listen. I wish someone would direct her to this site to see how she is perceived by her patients. We will be going elsewhere.

I could not agree more with most of the comments for Dr. Wohlman. I went there, waited a long time and was basically treated like I was not wanted, but they happily took my money. Dr.Wohlman even took cell ph calls during my appointment and never even said excuse me. I did purchase some of her products (that were basically thrown at me with little to no explaination ) but returned them asap for a refund. Not once did anyone ask why I wanted to return the items (skincare and vitamins). I did however end up paying over $300 in blood tests that I never got to see the results for. I think that Dr. Wohlman probably has helped some people (if even by accident) but her bedside manner, customer service skills and professionalism are woefully inadequate. It seems that the only person she is interested in helping is herself which is unfortunate. Please BEWARE!

I went to Dr. Wool for a consultation. She was nice, but in a lackadascal sort of way. She almost acted like you were wasting her time. Her answers to all of my questions were vague, except for the question related to price, which she was specific. She seems like an expert though so I was going to go through with the procedure. Then, when I tried to discuss things further she stated: "Talk to Ronnie; he is my main man." She then walked off in her 4 inch heels. I then looked up and saw a dog in the records area and urine stains on the carpet. I decided to give the matter further thought. In addition, Ronnie has had too much plastic surgery so there appears to be a judgment issue going on with the staff as well (i.e., you should be able to judge when enough is enough and not too much).

Ridiculous wait times of up to 2 hours past the appointment time are the norm, with no explanation or apology from the staff or her. The staff seem very indifferent and minimally helpful. Dr. Wool does not seem to want to listen to why you are there (hormone treatment) and what issues you are having and instead wants to spend time trying to sell expensive laser procedures and an overpriced skin care line. I am currently looking for a more caring physician to help me through some hormone issues. I have been to her office a total of 4 times now and will not return for a followup appointment.

I couldn't agree more with the comments I've read. I arrived @ my appt 20 minutes early but was unable to sign in bc the frosted reception window was closed & no one would open it to greet me. I sat there for almost 40 minutes before someone finally opened the glass. I had to remain in the lobby another 40 minutes waiting to be called back then another 20 in the room waiting for the dr. When she did come in, she didn't apologize for being late or introduce herself. She just jumped straight into discussing laser hair removal which was one of the issues I wanted to discuss but not the primary one. She then threw so much information at me that I had to ask her to stop. She was rude and interupted so many times that I never got to say why I was there. She wanted to sell me $250 dollars worth of supplements w/o doing any bloodwork or exam to determine what my issues were. I left there no more informed then when I entered. From what I've been told, this is her norm.

I have been to see Dr. Wohlman a few times. Each time she is a little ruder. I won't go back and would NOT advise anyone I know to go to see her. She really doesn't seem interested in my issues and only seems interested in selling me her supplements. She also pushes her face products and procedures even though I'm being seen for hormone treatment. There are plenty of knowledgeable doctors out there that care about their patients.
