Took my daughter to see Dr Powell and he could not diagnose so he referred us to another doctor but still prescribed meds. I asked the office staff on check-out and after I had time to think about it, "Why would doctor prescribe meds if he could not diagnose?" She went to get the doctor and he grabbed me and took me and my daughter into the bathroom to discuss. He talked down to me and said "What about my diagnosis did you not understand?" I was VERY frightened and just wanted to leave. I went back to AFC and asked for another doctor, but when they placed me with Powell against my request, I ran out of the clinic. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. Dr Powell and office staff are rude and the front staffers did not even know what a Health Reimbursement Account was.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. I am truly disgusted with the way my boyfriend and I were treated by this physician. Not only was his staff rude and extremely unhelpful, the doctor himself was HEINOUS. My boyfriend was extremely sick and this AFC is right next to our house. On Sundays, there are not a lot of options. We waited FOUR HOURS. 1-2-3-FOUR. I understand that there is only one physician on Sunday's & I don't mind being patient, But when asking a simple question of how long a breathing treatment takes, I was given the response of "if you need to leave, THEN LEAVE. We have to see patient's in the ORDER THEY CAME. LEAVE or whatever, but YOU NEED TO LET US FINISH SEEING THE PATIENTS." As a patient who just paid you money AND as a woman, this is TOTALLY unacceptable. After working for surgeons for nearly ten years myself, I have NEVER seen this kind of behavior from a doctor. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau today to report them.
