Flanagan has been my doctor for years and her attitude towards patients is truly devastating. She doesn't seem to want to help patients. And doesn't take the time to investigate. Can't be bothered. I asked at the end of our phone call how to book a longer appointment and she hung up on me. She's rude, doesn't help, and leaves her patience feeling terrible (on top of the medical issues) and helpless. Worst doctor ever. I wish I could change doctors but that route isn't easy. So my health is depleting because simply a doctor can't be bothered. Do better. Do your actual job.

The worst. I’m my last 4 appointments has interrupted the intent of the appointment to attempt to pressure me into vaccination. Then told me she would not do in person appointments with people who are not vaccinated. Continually harassed me to provide her information as to why I’m not being vaccinated. When I finally entertained her request she got mad and hung up. Will be filing a complaint with the college of physicians, not that it would matter she works 1 week a year. She needs to retire.

Personable ,caring thorough known her for 30 years. I respect her opinions. As a nurse I tend to self diagnose to my detriment. I ike her approach to me that makes me take ownership of my health

Dr. Flanagan has been my MD for 25 years. She is always punctual, honest, warm and caring. She was there for the birth of both my children. I respect her opinion and love that she has given her time to patients in Africa and Northern Canada.

I have been a patient of Dr. Flanagan's for about 15 years and have had nothing but a positive experience with her. She is warm, gentle and kind. She is punctual, knowledgeable and has gone out of her way to ensure that she was there for the birth of both my children even though she was not scheduled to be there for my youngest daughters birth. Love her!

Horrible doctor. Has been my family MD for 10 years and I have not had a single good experience. You explain your symptoms, she stares at you with a stoned daze, then half heartedly gives you a response as if she had been day dreaming. Told her i had hormone fluctuation problems I am looking to steady and she prescribed me a triphasic birth control which she did not inform me of. A 6 yr old with am internet browswr could provide better care. She prescribes medication with zero explanation to her patient as to what you are taking, any possible side effects and alternative options. Dr Flanagan lacks the knowledge and desire to provide exceptional service to her patients. She has always providedo the bare minimum and I have never felt confident in her. Have seen a number of other doctors in her clinic including Dr Borchert and Dr Murphy who I would highly recommend. The choice to a pursue a medical career yet have zero interest in providing good care will always baffle me. There are other careers that pay well and not at the expense of patients.

What a horrible doctor! My experience with her was terrible! I told her i thought i was dehydrated so she told me to stop breastfeeding my baby and to stop sleeping with him. I told her i was having heart palpitations and she blew it off as no big deal and just shrugged because I quit taking reflux meds that were making everything worse. As soon as I said no to that prescription it seems she lost interest in trying to help me. Dr Flanagan is quite judgemental and when the breastfeesing topic came up, i mentioned I've been breastfeeding for 5+ consecutive years and she said with wide eyes... "WHY would you do that?!?!" Dr Flanagan doesn't listen. She kept saying the wrong pregnancy dates for me... telling me i was measuring right on track (to her wrong dates???) and she neglected to actually tell ME how fast my baby's heartbeat was. I definitely don't trust this woman in an emergency to save me. Today, I had another appt with her. I tried to give her one more chance because Im at the end of this pregnancy and new to the area and it is a hassle to find care so late. After sitting in the little room by myself for almost an hour, I walked out without seeing her. Who has time for that? I didn't even get to fire her to her face. I will never recommend a pregnant woman to hire Dr Flanagan. She is the perfect example why we ALL need midwives! I have done much better healing myself and learning from the internet than wasting my time trying to get to appointments to see this doctor. Horrible!

She was so helpful during my oregnacy . I liked how she wasnt judgemental and helped me up off the table after being measured . Delivered my beautiful daughter .

Dr. Flanagan has been our family's doctor for some time now and we have had nothing but great things to say about her! Even when I had my mental break down she came to the psych-ward twice a week to see how I was doing and just have a small coffee with me. Her husband Dr. Murphy would also frequently show up if she was unavailable! Dr. Flanagan and Dr. Murphy also go to Africa and other countries in poverty to offer their assistance and I feel as though not enough people give her credit for what she does! A lot of people need to remember that she is a doctor and cannot always show compassion to every person that walks through her doors, she is a busy lady who is trying to help many at once and sometime she does yes bite off more than she can chew, but that being said she has always been there and I would never want any other doctor for myself or my family! I will miss her when I move back to Calgary... =( <3

LOVE LOVE LOVE Jean Flanagan. Was there for 2 of my babies, gives the straight goods in layman's terms, is very appropriate and professional. Had a heart to heart with my teenager when she needed to hear it. I'll hate it when she retires.
