I went in with a cough only and she prescribed protonix which is for gerd (?spelling), a stomach disorder. I was hesitant, but it worked. She looks beyond the surface symptoms to find a root cause, which is lacking in many doctors. I will keep her as our family physician, with full trust in her diagnosis.
