A very nice man. But as doctors go, he is LAZY! He is not willing to go the extra mile or put himself out in any way if you ask him something difficult or out of his field of reference. I truly love him as a person. He is kind, easy to talk to and as the other poster said, kind of like a "country doc" type personality. But he is not a doctor to trust your life to unless you have some simple ordinary everyday type of problem, If you have something out of the ordinary, I would choose a different doc. Glad he retired! But before he did, he failed to diagnose a life-threatening tumor which had recently presented. Good thing we got out of there just in time and got a new MRI that he had refused to order when I him to order one. Or my family member would be dead under his care. It is difficult to like a person so much for himself and at the same time be heartbroken that he did not order an MRI to diagnose this tumor. Therefore, I do not think I can give an accurate star rating.

Dr. Simon, was extremely helpful. I have a serious and complex condition that had three rare diagnosis and he did not give up on trying to diagnose it. Three Conditions are: Narcolepsy-Cataplexy/Sleep Paralysis and Hemiplegic Migraines. Which left me paralyzed/collapsing 5 to 6 times per day, in addition to migraines. Now I am only having them 2 to 3 times per week. He really takes his time to help patients in need. Dr. Simon referred my to various Specialist until we found the exact diagnosis. Now I am finally being treated by 2 renown specialist. If it wasn't for his effort I would be trapped in pain, physically & emotionally impaired.

Dr. Simon is not responsive to patients. He would not help me when I had a serious problem and I had to go to another MD.
