Dr. Auster is personable enough and seems to know his stuff when it comes to ADHD. One poster noted he is unhelpful and I would say that is partially true. Like many doctors in every field, Dr. Auster doesn't probe too deeply, but will answer any questions you have. He is one of those doctors who are fine if you are savvy in your diagnosis and a good advocate for yourself and/or child. Someone in need of more direction and guidance may not be completely satisfied.
