My husband was absolutely terrified to go to the dentist. On the advice of a relative, who was a patient of Dr. Soutar's for many years, I booked an appointment for him with Dr. Soutar. That was 5 years ago and my husband is no longer terrified of dentists. Highly recommend Dr. Soutar to anyone with fears of going to the dentist.

Was a patient of Dr. Soutar before I moved to the Maritimes. Haven't been able to find a new dentist that even comes close to Dr. Soutar. Greatest dentist ever!!

I recently switched dentists away from Dr. Soutar because my teeth kept hurting after fillings (for years). My new dentist has to fix almost every filling I've ever had from Dr. Soutar's office, and some have progressed to crowns and root canals. What a waste of time and money. It could be due to the fact that the hygienists were the ones doing my work. Dr. Soutar never did any of it. I'm pretty sure that's not how it's supposed to work.

Dr. Soutar has been my family dentist for almost 30 years now. Always been impressed with the quality of his work, and the way he has showed he cares and interacts with me and the other customers.

The one negative is the support staff, specially the dental assistance that helps Dr. Soutar. The last 4 or 5 visits, every single visit the dental assistant has been completely unprofessional and rude making numerous rude comments for no apparent reason. I have been nothing but polite myself, so I don't know why this assistant acts the way she does. I could see that Dr. Soutar was even embarassed at the actions of his assistant.

I've had Scott as my dentist for almost 20 years and have never had an issue with anything. I agree with the comments from others. He's knowledgeable and always makes sure you are satisfied with his work.

Been going to Scott for over 25 years. I really do not know how any other dentist could be more caring, professional, capable, or accessible as he is.
