I'm a long term pt & last few visits she sit sat the PC not making any eye contact asks a few questions and gets up a leaves the room without any indication the visit was over. Plus comments via on-line portal are not helpful. "I think you know what you need to do to prevent the progression to diabetes." and "I know that you already know how to eat, so I am not going to patronize you with those details. If, however, I am wrong, I would be happy to explain this further." So does she tell alcoholics and drugs addicts to "just say no"? She obviously she has no skills providing competent medical advice to people with compulsive over-eating/food addiction or has a bias agains fat people or it might just be me she hates. This is particularly upsetting since she treats me for major depression and most of my energy is focused on finding a purpose to wake up every day. Shame on her and shame on me for not finding a more suitable medical professional for my needs. I deserve better.

My whole family has gone to her for years! Couldn't ask for a better doctor. She spends time with you without rushing. She asks questions and genuinely cares about you as a person, not just a patient. I have quite a large family and she remembers all of our names, our kids names and anything else we've ever told her, medically related or not. She is very intelligent.

Excellent doc - friendly and thorough. Very computer competent, does e-prescribing.

I could not agree more with the previous rating, she is the best family Dr I have ever gone to, and I have had many, I am 61 years old and have gone to her for 15 years now. I consider her a great friend as well as Dr. (So does my husband)

Dr. Hamby is extremely caring and spends time talking and really listening to me. She is wonderful with my children and makes them feel very comfortable. She never rushes me but I also never have to wait long to see her. She is everything I could hope for in a family doctor.
