I am so glad to find that I am not the only one who has had a horrible experience with this doctor. From my first visit, I went there saying I was having trouble with depression and anxiety and checked off the occasional 'mood swing' box on the little questionnaire and her eyes lit up and told me that I must have bipolar. Since I've been seeing her the only things she's done is up the meds, combine doses, or prescribe an entirely different med as if you are a science experiment. The worst and most unprofessional thing this woman did was when she asked if there was any mental illness in my family and me and my mom told her yes and that one of my cousins had killed himself about a year ago. She has never seen or met my cousin in my life but had the audacity to state that he killed himself because "he was on the wrong meds" , or "had bipolar." I really hope this woman loses her medicine license because she is basically a drug dealer who wants to get you in and out of her office and just take your money. What a horrible doctor/ person.

She's awful I see below someone else mentioned she doesn't listen. In one day there were 5 patients booked at the "same" time and she forgot about us so we had our own session. We worked out the order of who can see her. Then I went in and she said "who are you again? The other night she phoned and during the conversation she said "who is this again?" I said "dumbass, you called me" and I hung up; she kept calling back and I did not answer.

I've been going to her for 2 years now I've tried so hard to understand her but she is just so miserable it's not even funny.she never looks at you when she talks I can't stand that she always never calls you back her blank staff does and they no nothing.she will make you feel like nothing she doesn't care about you all she cares about is getting her money I don't no why because she really don't do nothing except give meds that other doctor can't that's why people stay with her because of that. Trust me it's not because she's a good doctor she's a blank all the way around I hope she reads this so she sees how we feel grow up Dr khoshnu...

"Dr." Khoshnu must be the most incompetent (or possibly just lazy) doctor I have ever met.

After seeing psychiatrists for nearly 20 years I am pretty well educated with regards to my own problems and other common diagnoses.

My own problem is quite simple - anxiety. I explained to her my symptoms and concerns and after literally a second she diagnosed me as bipolar. From reading other reviews and speaking to other patients in her cattle-car waiting room (waiting up to an hour and a half sometimes for quadruple or more booked appt. slots) this seems to be her ONLY diagnosis.

She childishly explained bipolar by drawing a picture of two circles (?) and gave me a script for an uncommon used as a first resort and (as I found out later – not from her) dangerous medication.

I told her that I've been diagnosed as having a plain ol' vanilla Generalized Anxiety Disorder and she became downright hostile. I asked her if she would like the files from my psychologist and past psychiatrist and she would have nothing to do with it. Again she became quite hostile. She did relent and give me an anti-anxiety medication, but told me that at future appointments she didn't want to hear anything about side-effects or any other problems since I wouldn't listen to her.

She is never on time and, as I said previously, will usually have between 3-6 people scheduled for the same appointment. Her "staff" is one woman who doesn't speak to you, is rarely there and frequently fails to call to remind you about appointments or leaves messages on my phone for other patients, calling them by their full name. (Privacy?)

With regards to privacy and bedside manner, she has none. She frequently leaves other patients files open in front of me and bad mouths them or tells me their personal information. She also takes all of her calls on speakerphone while I'm sitting there. I doubt I should be listening in to her calls with other patients.

She is usually angry and will only be pleasant in some small way if you kiss her butt and tell her how right she is. She wants to hear nothing about side effects of your medication or any personal problems you may be having. By that I mean that she will half listen to you while charting for other patients and then tell you how wrong you are about everything. I'm not talking constructive criticism. Just plain ol' bitching at you. But generally she will cut you off and refuse to listen to anything she disagrees with. That's if she can even understand you, though, which I have a feeling she can't. She seems to have a tenuous grasp on the English language and I usually have to repeat things a few times because she doesn't understand , isn't listening or forgets something I've told her 30 seconds prior.

I've had some billing problems with my insurance once or twice and she'll sit there and call her billing company right there. That seems incredibly unprofessional.

You might be asking why I continued to see her and the answer is convenience. Between insurance and where I live and taking into consideration my knowledge about my condition I figured I could handle it. HOWEVER, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE WHO IS NEW TO PSYCHIATRY OR A PARENT WITH A CHILD OR SOMEONE WHO IS TAKING A POSSIBLY DANGEROUS MEDICATION SEE HER.

The last straw, the reason I decided it wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with her was as follows. When she goes on vacation or your next appointment falls around a holiday she will schedule a phone session and send you your Rx. The thing is, she has never actually followed through with a phone call and only once did she actually send a Rx. Yet, I was still billed her full rate each time.

Oh and lest I forget, in my experience it is nearly impossible to get ahold of her. When she failed to call me for my appt. and failed to send a Rx I tried in vain for TWO WHOLE WEEKS to get her on the phone before she finally responded. Ugh.

In closing, she is nasty, incompetent and kinda sketchy (possibly doing something illegal or at least immoral or unethical. The multitude of trashy offices, the way she funnels people through said offices like it's a Rx factory? It all raises some red flags.)

P.s. Oh and just for fun google her name and "bomb threat" to find out about the time she mouthed off to the TSA and got her luggage blown up by a bomb squad. Lol.)

Staff was friendly but this doc is horrible! My daughter and I walked into her office and the staff member introduced us. Her back was turned and she said nothing. Then after we sat down she turned and said "Hello" with absolutely no expression on her face. Don't go here...

Stay away from this doctor at all costs. Everyone is absolutely right. I have had a longstanding diagnosis of BPD and after 5 minutes she told me this disorder doesn't exist and I was bipolar. She sent me out with two scripts and the office staff booked me an appointment that they told me they had to double book for me. I never returned. You will absolutely feel worse after seeing this Dr. Then before. Stay away.
