Dr Bob has been my family doctor my whole life. While the wait time can be frustrating, it is always worth it. Dr Bob always takes time to answer and questions which is rare

Dr. Archer is very friendly, most often on time. Extremely knowledgable. Will not hesitate to look up something he is not sure of, or to make sure he has the latest info... It will be a sad day when he leaves to retire... Not too soon I hope.

I really like Dr. Bob but the wait times for appointments is definitely harmful to one's health - even an acute or immediate need has a minimum 6 week wait. Seeing one of the residents that are often there is a hit and miss, some are very good, others are detrimental to care. He has become more and more rushed with his increasing patient load and does not listen the way he used to - he is halfway out the door to the next patient after 5 minutes. If you can get his attention he is a great doctor, supportive and knowledgable, but sometimes that only happens when you land in hosptial because you could not get into see him in time at his office. He also needs to acknowledge when he has made an error in judgement, patients appreciate a genuine apology instead of brushing it off as insignificant. Definitely the best doc in the 3 partner practice though the other 2 are likeable and above average.

Dr. Archer is the kind of family physician we should all have. He is a great role model, very active physically and digs for and treats the root cause. He definitely takes the time necessary to consult and treat his patients, not hurrying you out of the office. A great listener, which we could all learn from. Knows exactly who to refer to for specialty followups. The leadtime to make an appt to see him is longer than average, but worth every minute.

Dr. Archer delivered me 24 years ago and has been my physician ever since. He is a fanstastic doctor and I am grateful to have him as not only my doctor, but my wife and son's as well. I only hope we can find a doctor like him when he retires. Hopefully that's still a long way off.

Dr. Archer helped to deliver my premature first born and later delivered my son. He let me make most of the descisions during delivery and gave me time to work through the labour. He even let me nurse right away since my son was 42 weeks old and very hungry! He has been the best Doctor to our family as well. He listens and takes time to explain your situation in doctor's terms as well as simple english. I have recently moved and we will miss not only Dr. Archer but also his staff. He has all of the knowledge and professionalism that you hope for but doesn't make you feel like you're an idiot if you don't understand. His staff always remembers us and takes time to greet the kids. We wish him well and hope to find a doctor in Windsor with his overall abilities.

Wait times are extended pretty much everywhere, and when it comes down to the crunch, you want someone who knows what he's doing, even if you have to wait a little - this man may not have the best bedside manner, but he knows his stuff! Even the nurses around town speak well of him, and they should know!

Dr. Archer is a very fine and caring doctor. Young, but very knowledgeable. Willing to go that extra mile for you and your health. More Doctors would do well to emulate him! Although I havenb't had to use his specialty (Anesthesiology) I have heard that he is very good at it. Not always on time but considering his work load... And I don't mind waiting for a true professional!
