About 20 years ago I had 4 crowns done and they were higher than my normal teeth. I was not happy as well he insisted on pulling a bottom wisdom tooth that had never caused me any problems. He insisted. After removing the tooth I had dry socket and nerve damage which I am still dealing with 20 years later. If I had been informed of possible nerve damage I would have refused his services and left. I would definitely not recommend this dentist. Even after 20 years it seems nothing has changed. Don’t know why he still has a practice.

I went in with a chipped tooth. Right beside my front tooth. I had full coverage so he deemed it necessary to do a root canal prior to fixing it. When he was done he left the room without a word and the hygienist handed me a mirror and asked "what do you think?" I looked at the mirror, then at her and said "Really, what do you think?" The look on her face said it all. My new tooth was small, looked like something made by a preschool child and wasn't even remotely close to matching the one on the other side. It looked ridiculous . She called him back in and he had the nerve to say it added character. I said absolutely not. Then, instead of admitting the obvious mistake and offering to start over and fix it he was going to grind down the tooth on the other side to match his fiasco of a job. I got up out of that chair as fast as my legs would carry me. While I was waiting to see another dentist a week and a half later the tooth he made cracked in half and part of it fell right off. WORST DENTIST EVER! The hygienist was mortified and I can only assume that the high turnover in staff probably has a lot to do with his work. I wouldn't be able to face patients after he worked on them.

Extremely unhappy with this dentist office. We have been going to them for several years. I took my kids in for their regular cleaning on May, 19 2021. We had coverage and I paid my portion of the services. (have receipts). Then 5 months later on Oct 13 I get a text message from Kaylene in the office. she asked me to come in to sign a claim form for treatment that was never submitted back in may. (I have the text mess on my phone) . I called her and explained that I will come by to sign the form but I know longer was employed and did not have dental coverage anymore. So if it did not get paid by the insurance provider then it is there mistake. Then I get another phone call from her wanting to book an appt for my son for further dental services, when I had told her previously that I did not have insurance anymore. Then I get a call today Dec 9th from the office. They left a message stating I owed $8.57. I called a spoke to Kayla and again explained this whole situation. She was very argumentative with me and said it was the fault of the previous office girl who no longer works there. I told her I was not going to pay for their billing issues 7 months after the service was done. It is not a clients responsibility to pay for staff's billing issues. Everytime we have gone in, there is new staff. Kayla then told me that Dr. Nichol will send it to collections. For a whole $8.57 after your billing errors that happened 7 months ago!! Great job Evergreen, you just lost 3 clients. Never have I been treated so poorly by a dentist office.

I attended this dentist a few times before I realized something wasn't right. I could hear the staff gossiping and talking about other patients. I turned a blind eye untill he started to work on the wrong tooth! The assistant corrected him. He seems uninterested in his work and the patient. I wonder if his age is a factor and if be should be still practicing? I have found another dentist who has fixed the work he has done. Very sad when another dentist comments on the work. There are many other dentists in spruce Grove, do your research. Just because it's a "nice" building for not mean it's quality work.

The staff are excellent and so is he. I started going to him after another dentist had left live root tissue and a broken drill in my mouth, and he has been excellent ever since. He actually talked me into another root canal (my third, the first two with other dentists both resulted in the tooth being pulled shortly thereafter), and so far, so good! This after swearing I'd never let another dentist give me a root canal... he even explained why root canals go bad and what would have been happening with the first two. Fingers crossed that third time's lucky!

Dr. Haines is the best dentist I have been to. He is very exacting, kind and funny - he loves to tease. His office is kept immaculate and his staff are very friendly and caring. I would recommend this dentist to anyone who asks.

Before Christmas I tried Dr. Haines for first time. My regular dentist couldn't get me in. Even though they were booked up, his girl got me in to see him for a bad tooth. He was great. He started root canal treatment and I had no more pain as soon as the freezing was out. It was nice to meet someone you can count on in the crunch. I had it finished a few days ago and have had no problems. Me and my family will be seeing him from now on.

I am more than pleased with Dr Haines. He has done a lot of work on this old boy's teeth and in every case an excellent job. His pain control is excellent and he is willing to take the time to resolve any issue. First class Dr. in my books.

Have been going to Dr. Haines for over 20 years. He has always been accommodating for both myself and my family. If there is an emergency, he never hestitated to make time to see us.
