Dr. Parfitt helped our son after a year of hell. He truly is a doctor/surgeon and now adays these gifted people are hard to find. Stepping out of school or being in the industry for decades doesn't neccessarily correlate to caring or talent. Unfortunately, Dr. Parfitt was the second surgeon. The first surgeon truly lacks the skill that Dr. Parfitt has. We are sooo greatful for being directed to this amazing talented, caring man. Because of Dr. Parfitt, our son(24years old)will have the ability to walk in life without constant pain. Thank you Dr. Parfitt,

he should stick to be a Dr. and not on giving advice on other issues. We pay too much to medical to sit through a lecture on something that has nothing to do with why we were there.

Had a broken leg and during the consultation, he treated me and my family like morons, refusing to explain the details of the surgery. I was worried about the effects of the surgery on my knee but he said that it has nothing to do with the knee. After the surgery, I had severe pain in my knee, well past the recovery date, from the metal rod that was inserted in the Tibia. He refused to remove it, claiming that it is never removed. After seeing a specialist in Vancouver that couldn't understand Parfitt's claim, he got on the phone with him only to find out that Parfitt thought he had placed the rod to deep to be able to remove it. It was a new type of surgery and he completely botched it. Making the odd mistake is understandable and human, but lying about it, is disgusting. The surgeon in Vancouver fixed his mess, all the while commenting about why the incisions weren't straight, and why he did many other things completely backwards from what a quality surgeon would do.

I had surgery on my right knee 5 years ago that turned out well and I just recently had surgery on my left one by Dr. Parfitt...I'm still recovering at this time. I will never be totally pain free in my joints as that's just what happenens when we get older. I would recommend Dr. Parfitt to anyone who is considering joint surgery.

He rebuilt my wrist after having a very nasty biking accident. He preformed the initial surgery and then 8 month later removed the hardware. The results have been terrific...almost 100% recovery. Very satisfied!
