It was a privilege to meet Dr Gleeson and be under his care while in hospital. He was incredibly knowledgeable kind and had a fantastic bedside manner which was greatly appreciated during such scary uncertain times. Being a nurse of 32yrs I have worked with numerous doctors and I can confidently say he is a very good physician and I’m very grateful for his thorough care.

Go and see ‘Jackie’ Gleeson if you’re experiencing weird stuff going on in your parts you can’t see and keep tucked in under your shirt. This guy knows his entrails! If you’re addicted to drugs or related proclivities he’s well grounded in pharmacologist and biochemistry. He’ll help you get your brain reconfigured. That said I do hope you’ll bear in mind I’m speaking experientially. I took points off for being late sometimes but he will make up that time. And heres a tip- if you don’t like something he’s said tell him! I’d rather have a doctor I can argue with because it shows he’s above the superficial insults and is listening to you because these days doctors are overly concerned with politeness- the phoney kind that’s concerned with outward appearance. I even think he might be too intelligent to be a doctor. Good thing though because he’s a lousy bass player

I knew that Dr Gleeson would turn out to be an exceptional doc! He was my classmate and was always there to help you to understand. He graduated top of his class. Congrats on your achievement in medicine....Sade😃

I suppose he might be a good doctor if he had a backbone. He told me that he felt there was no medical reason for me to have a planned c-section, except that his colleagues would not support him allowing me to try a v-bac. He didn't deliver my child-he stole her from me.

Dr. Gleeson is as good as it gets. Hi is right on target with his diagnostics. If you want a better family doctor go to Utopia.

I have found it nearly impossible to ever be able to book appointment. He rarely returns messages or follows up on important medical issues he was to "get back to you on". Does not believe in food allergies. And has never had a stable place of practice, so getting the health care you need when you need it is impossible, you end up having to go to a walk-in. He may be a good doctor as far as knowledge goes and a good person, but he is not reliable and not a Dr. you can depend on

DR. JOE WONDERFUL !!!!!! THIS TYPE OF DR WHO TREATS YOU LIKE A PERSON NOT A 15 MINUTE VISIT IS SO HARD TO FIND ..MY WISH WOULD BE HE WOULD PRACTICE IN HAMILTON LIKE HIS FATHER...DR. TOM WHOM WE HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR.. MANY DRS OLD AND NEW SHOULD TAKE A PAGE FROM BOTH THESE MEN..

I agree with the previous postings. Dr. Gleason is a very special kind of Doctor. He is by far the best I have known. He takes the time to discuss his plans of investigation and afterwards explain the results in simple understandable terms. He gave my wife back her quality of life by diagnosis the problem correctly, of which many specialists in the city could not. He has been our family doctor since moving to Muskoka and very greatful to have found him.
