Consistently late without apology or explanation. Worthless and demeaning. See someone else.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She is very cold and set in her ways of old medicine. I made several calls to her regarding issues with medication and NEVER received a return call from her. The only call I received from her office was from her billing people who told me I owed her money, which was an error. I had to call my insurance company directly in order to resolve the billing error. The only question that Badaracco would ask me is if I was having suicidal thoughts. She spent most of the time staring at my meds that I brought with me and counting the remaining pills in each bottle. She then changed most of my meds that were working wonders for me. I expressed to her that I was deeply concerned about her changing my meds but she dismissed me. Guess what - the new regimen screwed me up completely. Again, when I called her about this no answer. I now see a different psychiatrist that I feel completely comfortable with and trust. He is caring and doesn't dismiss my input. I hope that no one else visits this woman and has to waste time with her. I'm not even sure how she is still allowed to practice, I think it was time for this woman to throw in the towel about 10-20 years ago.

My first apt I was there for 3 hours. Was told by her I could wait or reschedule. I waited because it took me 4 weeks to get in to see her. I "assumed" it was because she was that good. Well let me tell you. Very rude, judgmental and just plain bitter. Second apt I waited for 1 1/12 hours. Ok I'll give maybe something happened and running late. Today I walk in and there are 2 other families there before me that have yet to see her. Now I watched a patient leave and waited 20 minuets and went and knocked on the door and told her my time was just as valuable to which I got an eye roll. Well then reschedule she tells me. Very unprofessional in my book. I will never go to this lady again and will def never recommend her to anyone and would discourage anyone from going in and wasting your time. And while you're talking to her it looks as if she is falling asleep. And forget the insurance end of it. Her office staff makes you do all the leg work with the insurance company and will not even give you an appt until you have everything in writing. I can't believe she has been around this long.

i saw this doctor well over 30 years ago, and i am in shock. i came across this website quite by accident one day and found her name with these reviews. how on earth is she still practicing and getting away with this? and why has no one complained about her to the state board of medical examiners? she was horrible when i went to her, and you see how long ago that was. something is very wrong here. one of you folks has to get on the move and report her. she is hurting people!

There is something very wrong with this woman. She has never been less than 40 minutes late, and as much as 1 hour and 40 minutes late. Not fun when there is no waiting room and you have to stand outside in single-digit temperatures waiting for her. Although the first session was the standard 45 minutes, the subsequent sessions have been around 25-30 minutes, and mostly involve her VERY VERY VERY slowly writing the prescriptions. During one session, she started quoting some Native-American stuff and started to CRY! WTF?!?! During our last session, and I stress *DURING*, she handed me a survey for a website of doctor listings called Z-Doc and had me fill it out right in front of her. This survey should have been anonymous and maybe given to me after the session to bring back in a plain envelope or something. It's hard to be a psychiatric patient with General Anxiety Disorder and have to sit in front of someone and be truthful about how much they suck. And of course, then she could read the thing and know exactly who wrote it. She is the worst doctor of any sort that I have ever had.

I ditto what everyone else has written. I wish that I had come across these reviews before seeing this woman. She's a complete QUACK! I finally gave up about ten months into treatment with her. About 2 months after my last appointment with her, I receive a bill for monies owed from JANUARY! She never, not once, mentioned having an outstanding balance with her and then waits until I have stopped seeing her to come up with bogus bill? How convenient. Steer clear of this one!

I wish so badly I had checked here before I had gone for my first appointment. Everything others have written is accurate. Very late, uninterested, falls asleep, and is a little rude. So unbelievably unprofessional I have no idea how she has and patients. I will say she seemed like she may be quite knowledgeable and possibly good at what she does if she were and entirely different person in every other aspect. Perhaps it's her age or taking on too much? Don't go.

This doctor would fall asleep - yes ASLEEP - during my sessions. She was always running absurdly late - an hour or even more. One time, she was a no-show for an early morning appointment we had. Her dog didn't make me feel comfortable - I was nearly attacked once by it. She showed no compassion. Terrible psychiatrist.

Not just the worst psychiatrist ever, but the worst doctor ever. She FALLS ASLEEP during your session. She is never on time (and I mean running 1-2 hours behind) and you're just sitting in what is a formal living room with the sound of a plug-in fish tank bubble sound machine. Don't even get me started about the dog she had trained to be aggressive if you even though about walking in to her office without her non-verbal consent. She requires a big cash payment upfront to cover you until insurance starts paying - the balance of this money is a credit. I realize now that I should probably have complained to the medical board about her falling asleep because it's more than just unprofessional. She was rude and mean when I was upset that my relationship at the time had ended. After a couple weeks she didn't understand why I wasn't over it yet. She's completely out of touch with reality - maybe her age is a factor in that. What a horrible experience.

My opinion is really the only opinion that counts to me. I have been a patient for almost 1 year now. Yes ,there is a wait time but with reasonable logic ,every Dr. has a waiting period, so I do not judge by this option. When I had my first visit ,I must say that I'm not there to chit chat about the weather ,I'm there for help & I'm someone who always tries to be the "rock" in my family. So reaching out for assistance was a huge step for me. I have been to other specialist in various fields of medicine & not once have I had the correct diagnosis during my first visit to any physician ...BUT I did with Dr. Badarraco-Apalito. This made a huge difference in my everyday life & I must say I'm extremely glad to go once a month knowing that what I had to say was actually listened too. Many Drs. hear you & don't listen to you - major differences in these definitions. I disagree with many ratings .If you want a Dr. that knows pharmaceuticals,I definitely recommend a visit. I'm a happy patient.
